The Competitive Family

Fresh let out a groan as he felt Pj unwrap his arms from him. Pj just chuckled as he found the reaction cute. "..You alright..?" Came a soft voice from the door. Pj turned around to see Palette standing there. ".. Yeah, i'm alright bro.. Kinda hungry though..." Pj said and Palette nodded. "Well, Ink is cooking some dinner right now.. Its gonna be done soon.. Are you sure your ok..?" Palette said, sounding concerned for his half brother. "Yeah, i'm ok. Tell our dads that I'll be down with Fresh in a minute.."

Palette nodded to Pj and hesitantly left the doorway. Pj let out a sigh and turned to Fresh. He then smiled as he lightly shook the small skeleton. "Hey, hun, let's go get something to eat.." Pj spoke in a soft tone. Fresh just let out another groan and snuggled into his pillow more. Pj sighed and got out of bed. Walking to Fresh's side, he stretched. He then picked up Fresh in bridal style and started heading out of the room.

Fresh opened his eyes and let out a small squeak as he noticed he was being held. "W-where are we going..?" Fresh asked. "Were gonna eat." Pj answered and walked down the stairs and into the dining room. Once there, he set Fresh down and took a seat as Fresh sat down beside him. Error walked into the room and went up to Pj, hugging him. "Oh, son! Are you ok? What happened?" Error asked and pulled away from the hug.

Pj sighed as he looked into his fathers eyes. "I'm ok dad.. Something just hit me and I felt like I wanted to be alone. But I'm alright now." Pj said and error took a moment before he gave a nod. "Alright.. I'm glad your ok.. Please don't do that again.." Pj just gave a nod as Fresh gave a small smile to the other two. Error then walked off to help Ink with dinner.

~~ Time skip to after dinner cause lazy author ~~

Fresh snuggled up to Pj on the couch as Error snuggled up to Ink on the other side of the couch. Palette already left to go to Goth's house and hang out with him. ".. Hey hun, do we have school tomorrow..?" Pj asked Fresh and the small skeleton looked up at Pj as he answered. "Yeah, today's Thursday." "Ah fu-" "Paperjam! No cursing." Pj was cut off by Ink who was now slightly glaring at him. "Why? Dad swears all the time!" Pj defended himself and Error rolled his eyes.

"I'm older than you, and I can beat you in any sport. So I have earned the right to be able to swear." Error said and gave the other a wink that Ink couldn't see to show that he really didn't care and to go along with it. Pj noticed it and decided to milk the act a bit. "Really..? I can beat you in football old man!" Pj said with a smile as Error rose a brow. "Was that a challenge..? Cause I'm up for that! Any day, any time, I'll beat you son." Error said, sounding a bit competitive.

Ink just sighed and face palmed. "You guys always have to do this? I swear its up to four times a month now.." Ink said, but couldn't help the small amused that made its way to his face. Fresh couldn't help but chuckle as he continued to watch the two rant on about how one could beat the other.

After a while of the father and son rivalry, ink finally clapped his hands, which silenced the two. "Ok, I think that's enough. You two can settle it tomorrow at the game. Ok?" Ink said and fresh tilted his head. " 'the game'..?" Fresh repeated and Pj let out a chuckle. "Yeah, I have a football game Friday, err, tomorrow. Its after school, you can come watch if you want." Pj explained and Fresh nodded. "That sounds fun! I'll watch your game." Fresh said with a smile and Pj smiled as well.

"Ok, we should get to bed. Night you two." Ink said and stood up, picking Error up along with him as the smaller of the two giggled. Fresh smiled up at Pj as he just snuggled closer to the jock. Pj smiled more and hugged the other closer to himself, the two clearly not wanting to move away from the other. So they  just stayed on the couch and soon fell asleep.
