『Jungkook's P.O.V』

Last night, I couldn't help but wonder what the band members were doing without me. But the truth was I did have plans with someone else. I try to go to most of the rehearsals, but my parents always have some class they want me to take. I can't let my family down. I need to be the best son I can be.

I woke up this morning stressed out because I realized it was Monday and Mondays always stressed me out because of school. I sighed and checked my phone for any notifications like always.

6:00 a.m

Yugyeom: Morning Jungkook. I know you aren't awake yet, but do you want to meet up at the coffee shop after school?

7:04 a.m

Goldenkook: Sure :) I miss hanging out with you.

Yugyeom: Me too. I wish that we were in the same school together. :(

Goldenkook: Meet me at the coffee shop at 4:00 okay?

Yugyeom: I'll be there. Sorry but my stupid roommate keeps annoying me.

Goldenkook: You have a roommate?

Yugyeom: Yeah. His name is Bambam. He just moved in. I have to go now. Bye.

Goldenkook: Bye...

I sighed as I shut my phone off. That was weird I never knew that Yugyeom had a roommate. Yugyeom used to be my online best friend. We met online after Taehyung stopped talking to me two years ago. I felt so alone without Taehyung and needed someone to talk to that wasn't my bandmember. After we talked for about a year, we then realized that we lived super close to each other and we hung out a lot. The only bad thing was that he didn't go to my school.

The reason why I'm surprised Yugyeom has a roommate is because he had been living on his own for about most of high school. His parents raped him at the age 12 and they were sent to jail. Yugyeom's grandmother took care of him and died during his last year of middle school. Luckily he had money and bought a cheap apartment close to where I lived. He never trusted anyone after that. He didn't even trust me the first times we talked online afraid that I would be one of those old creepy guys who stalk teenagers and whatever. Eventually he decided he wanted to meet me at the old coffee shop downtown. That was our special meeting spot. Jimin had always been there for me and so have the other band members, but with Yugyeom it felt different. He almost made me as happy as I was with Taehyung but not quite.

I've always felt bad for him. He had to live alone, go to school to get a good education and he had to work to keep his apartment. Sadly, we ended up not seeing each other because of school and his job. Soon enough we just stopped hanging out. I miss him but most of all I miss Taehyung.

The whole morning I couldn't stop thinking about Yugyeom. I wanted to see him so badly. I had another class scheduled for the afternoon, but my want to see Yugyeom told me to skip it. It wouldn't hurt skip one class would it?

The whole day felt like a billion years. I kept staring at the clock wishing it would tick faster and make the minutes only feel like seconds, but it didn't work. I didn't have super powers. My teachers could tell that I wasn't paying attention and kept shouting at me, "Jungkook pay attention!", "Jungkook stop staring at the clock," and stuff like that. At this point I didn't even care. I decided to ditch my last period. English sucked anyway. Namjoon would seriously yell at me. (Love you Jungkook :) )

I walked to Yugyeom's apartment as fast as I could. I actually sprinted there to be exact. My excitement couldn't hide itself anymore and soon enough I had made it up the stairs to my long lost friend. I sighed in happiness as I knocked on the door.

Yugyeom opened the door and grinned hugely when he saw me. "Kookie! Oh my god! You're finally here!" He hugged me and told me to come inside. "Wait a minute, why are you out of school so early?"

I bit my lip nervously. "Um.. I kind of ditched it..."

Yugyeom just laughed. "Well, I'm glad you did. Bambam just left."

"Ah. He did?" I sighed in relief. I wasn't in the mood to meet his roommate.

"Yeah. He needed to well, um... Meet someone." I could tell that Yugyeom was hesitant and he didn't want to tell me something. I was about to ask him what was wrong, when he said, "Let's go to the coffee shop now!" He said excitedly and put on his jacket.

"Yeah! Let's go!" I smiled happy and let the thought of him lying to me pass. On the way, we kept asking me tons of questions mostly about my band.

"So how is your band doing?"

"Good. We are working on a new album."

"Ooooh Whats it called?"

"We aren't sure yet."

"How are you and Taehyung?"

"Um.. He still hates me."

"Do you have a girlfriend yet?"

"Nope."

He kept asking me questions until we sat down at a table outside of the old coffee shop. I asked for a blueberry muffin. I'm not that fond of coffee.

"So Yugyeom. How are your parents?" He looked at me sadly. All the happiness vanished in seconds.

"...still in jail."

"Oh..."

"Yeah. They are still insane. I haven't visited them at all. I don't want too."

"Mmmm okay... I understand. Anything else that's new?"

"My roommate."

"That's it?"

"Yeah. Pretty much. Life with Yugyeom is pretty boring."

"So what made you want to move in with Bambam?"

Yugyeom shrugged his shoulders. I swear he blushed when I said his roomate's name.

"I like him. But he has a boyfriend already..."

"Seriously that sucks..." I have always known that Yugyeom had a thing for guys. "What's his name?"

"Jinyoung."
