Before I could make a retort, a mysterious voice said, "You won't find her until you're ready. You're lucky I got here when I did, or else the both of you would be dead. Come, sit with me.I know you must be famished." At the word famished, both Avalon's and my stomachs growled, so we went and sat with the inviting woman. She was quite beautiful in a timeless kind of way. I dare to ask, "Who are you, and what do you want?"
"Don't-!" Avalon started, but the newcomer held up her hand to cut him off. "It's okay," the woman said, "he has a right to know who I am. After all, I am the intruder here. My name is Caila, and I know what and who you seek." She put her finger to my heart and shocked me. I gasp, and I suddenly start levitating without meaning to. I can't move, and I'm freaking out horribly bad. Then, just as suddenly, I plop back on the ground and can move again.
"W-what the hell w-was that?!" I stammered. "See for yourself," Caila said, smiling, "Try shooting lightning again." I'm worried that I might screw up again, but I shot a bolt of lightning, and it flew straight as an arrow. "Now bring it back to you, and make it stop in front of you." I thought about it coming back and stopping in front of me, and... and... my mouth fell wide open. The lightning came back and stopped right in front of where I was standing! I couldn't believe it! I looked at Caila in shock, but she simply nodded. "Keep working on controlling that power, and eventually you will develop more and even greater powers. Now..." She kept teaching me all about electricity, its properties, its means of travel, how to safely and correctly yield it, and the like. All this time though, I couldn't help but wonder where Kelleena disappeared to...
