Maybe I Should Be More Like Her

That date was a bust. Austin was sweet but it didn't click and I hope he felt the same.All I wanted to do was go home and get in some comfy pants and a big t-shirt and go to sleep and dream.Austin took me back home and parked outside my house,it was dark since it was 10:34.
"Well we are here"Austin said as I nodded and waited for him to say goodbye
"Can I kiss you?"Austin added, I did not want to kiss him not that he wasn't attractive I just didn't want to lead him up
"Isn't a little early for us to kiss"I joked as he chuckled
"Well maybe I'll get that kiss you one day"Austin said with a smile as a thought maybe not

We said goodbye and I went inside.My aunt was sleeping already.I went to my room and put on my comfy pants and big t-shirt and then went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth.Then hopped in my queen sized bed-you KNOW since I'm a queen just kidding. I woke up with no memory of even falling asleep, I looked over at the clock and it was 8:34 am, so I decided to sleep more after that it was 10:26 so I just got up and took a shower and brushed my teeth and all that.I went to room after and put some under garments and then a black tank top and some ripped jeans and some Chuck Taylor White Converses. I went to see if my aunt was in the kitchen and she wasn't.I went outside to check if her car was there and it wasn't.Oh she probably went to the store.As I turn around I see Cameron sitting by his porch reading a book.I decided to go say hi,but also tell him it didn't work with Austin.

"Hey, Cameron what are you reading."I ask him as he puts it down

"The Notebook"He says as I bust out laughing

"Why are you reading The Notebook."I ask him as he gets up and grabs his book

"Cause It's relatable"He says with an uneasy tone as he passes me hitting my shoulder and heads back inside.I didn't mean to piss him off.

I decide to go back in the house as I hear keys dangling outside.My aunt came back from the store,hopefully she brought food.The door opens and I hear

"SELENA!!"I hear Victoria and Lucy say as I get up and run to hug them

"I went to pick them up at the airport,I guess you forgot since you didn't wake up"my aunt says

"Oops"I joke

"I heard that you already got some man candy"Victoria tells me as I look at my aunt

"Who told you that"I say sarcastically looking at my aunt with a high eyebrow

"Oops"she says as I laugh

"I'm so happy you guys are here now I won't be so bored"I says as I hug them again and harder

"You only been here a day and a half"Lucy says

"It was a long day and a half filled with drama"I say as pout

"I almost forgot is Cameron really here,What the hell"Lucy says as we break from the hug

"Language"Says my auntie(I'll start saying this idk) as she unpacks the groceries

"Yes and we already got into a argument"I say as we head to the couch

"Why?and is Matthew still living with him and buddies cause if he is,he can argue with me any day"Lucy says

"Lucy,don't be nasty and yes he is here"I tell her as I continue with the story.
"Anyways he got angry cause the man candy Austin asked me on a date and I said yes cause I didn't want for someone to hate me already.Then I tell Cameron and he says he loves me still and I do too,since the date with Austin was not even great and he is still mad today"I tell him

"You should tell him you don't like Austin"Victoria says as she gets up to go unpack

"I agree"Lucy adds as she gets up too for the same reason

"But how if he won't talk to me?"I say as I lean my head on the couch

"Figure it out honey"Victoria says

"You guys are no help ughhhh" I say
