What Fear Really Is

(Emmett POV)

*Nurse's Office*

I Awoke In The Nurse's Office With Rosalie, Carlisle, Nessie And Esme Surrounding Me.

"Hello Mr. Cullen" Said The Nurse.

"Hello" I Said.

"You Were Found By Mike Newton Unconscious In The Bathroom And The CCTV Camera Shows You Reacting To Something"She Spoke With A Friendly Tone.

"Ugh My Head" I Moaned.

"We Are Sending You And Rosalie Home For The Rest Of The Day"

"Why Rosalie?" I Asked.

"Because Apparently She Is The Only One Who Can Calm You When You Get Scared" She Responded.

"Well Yeah Bu-"

"Listen Emmett, I Want To" Rose Spoke For The First Time In This Conversation.

"Fine" I Said.

Carlisle Drove Me Home And When I Got In I Rested On The Couch.

"Emmett I'm Going Out Hunting. I'll Bring Some Blood Back" Said Rose.

"Okay!" I Said Brightly.

The Door Closed. I Was Alone. Or So I Thought. I Heard A Scream. I Stood Up.

"Guys?" I Asked.

"Emmett! Save Me!" The Ghostly Voice I Heard Earlier Said.

Then The Door Opened.

"No!" I Shouted.

I Tried To Run But The Doors Shut And Locked. I Turned Around To See Myself. Only I Had Blood All Over Me And my Eyes Were Wet.

"You're Weak Emmett!" He/I Said.

The Room Began To Shake. The TV Showed Up Static And The Lights Were Flickering Again. The Other Me Laughed.

Then It Morphed Into Rosalie.

"Why Emmett? Why Couldn't You Save Me?" The Ghostly Voice Spoke Again.

"You're Not Real You're Not Real" I Kept Whispering To Myself.

"I'm Not Real Huh?"

Then She Let Out An Unearthly Howl. I Covered My Ears. Then A Burning Pain Ripped Through My Body. Worse Than Anything I've Ever Felt.

I Heard Some Smashing Before I Fell To The Ground Unconscious.

(Rosalie POV)

*The Woods*

I Caught Scent Of A Deer. I Stalked The Sweet Smell. Then I Sniffed The Air To Smell Blood. Sweet Honey Scented Blood. It Was A Familiar Scent. It Was Emmett's Blood. I Called On Esme, Carlisle And Nessie.

"Rosalie Back To The House!" Carlisle Commanded.

*Cullen Home*

When I Got Back To The House I Saw A Shadow. Of Me. When It Faded I Saw Emmett Lying Out Cold, Covered In Blood. There Was Shadows Under His Eyes.

"Emmett!" I Said, Shaking Him.

He Looked Worse Than He Did When I Found Him Dying In The Woods When He Was First Turned. Eventually I Saw Life In His Body. His Hand Moved. Then His Eyes Opened. The Amber In His Eyes Was Dull.

"Rose!" He Pulled Me In For A Hug.

I Didn't Care That He Was Covered In Blood. I Embraced Him Back And Pushed Back His Short, Brown Curly Hair.
