Three months were left until the contract would be officially over.

But would Rowan and Corey be as well?

**Flashback to a month earlier**

Rowan and Corey arrived at the studio to meet with Jake, the show's publicist. They hadn't spoken to him in almost a year.

They walked into the office and sat down, along with their friends who wanted to join them.

Jake looked angry.

"Can one of you please fucking explain this to me?" he throws a picture at them.

The picture showed Rowan and the boy Alex holding hands, someone took the photo precisely when she shook his hand.

Rowan groaned. "Its not what you think Jake! I was only introducing myself to him!" she defended

Jake snapped his eyes to Corey. "And where the hell were you when all this happened? The two of you are suppose to be together at all times remember?" he snapped

Corey rolled his eyes. "I can't watch her every move Jake! Besides she and i actually argued about this, and Rowan understands she can't do anything like this again. At least until September."

Jake tapped his fingers. "Yes well now we have a huge problem. This is going to be released to the press tomorrow, and its already all over the internet mind you. Fans are going to believe Rowan is cheating on you with this kid! And what's worse, it will affect all of us."

"People wouldn't think that of Rowan Jake!" Sabrina defended her friend. "It would be considered a rumor, and besides people will move on after a week and forget the whole thing ever happened!"

Jake narrowed his eyes. "That better be true or else were going to have a huge problem. People are going to assume things, you better believe they will assume your relationship is all for publicity. And we can't let that get out, because then were all in trouble." he said

"Look Jake, we'll explain to the fans it was a misunderstanding!  I'm sure they will believe us. This is just a bump in the road. Were so close to being done with this" explained Rowan.

Jake looked at them. "I hope you're right. For your sake."

**End of Flashback**

It had been a month since the whole thing was released to the media.

Fans were angry at Rowan for believing she cheated on Corey, and rumors were still being spread, and Rowan and Corey had no idea on how to stop it.

Corey and Rowan decided to go out for lunch today, they actually tried going out together all the time the past month to try and prove their relationship was still great.

"Maybe we should go on a talk show" Corey suggested during lunch.

Rowan scoffed. "And do what? Tell everyone were better than ever? We already tried that Corey" she said.

Corey sighed. "Well maybe it'll get better? There's only three months left anyways Row. And then were going to be together after that anyways, that's when we get to make things official. Start over like we wanted?" he said

Corey and Rowan remained best friends, but still didn't consider each other boyfriend and girlfriend. They still agreed to wait until the contract was over.

Rowan gave a small smile. "I know that Corey. I guess i just want all this to be over and done with. I'm actually excited for Girl Meets World to be over.. We need to start our new lives together." she said.
