**Scott POV**
The next day

After the show last night, we got on a plane and flew right to Texas so we can go be with our families.

We spent the night at a hotel since we got in so late last night.

We are heading over to Kirstie's moms house then to my parents to tell them about the baby news.

"Mom! We're here!" Kirstie yells through the house and her mom comes running down the hallway.

"Oh it's so good to have you guys home!" She says hugging Kirstie then me and taking Rose from Kirstie.

"Come on. I made breakfast if you guys are hungry." She says walking us to the kitchen.

We sit down and she puts all the food on the table for us to eat and we start talking about everything.

"So what did you have to talk to us about?" Kirstie asks.

"Well I really wanted to talk to Scott in private if that's okay." Her mom says looking at me.

I nod and get up from the table and follow her mom outside.

"Yes, ma'am?" I ask.

"I'm just happy you got the help you needed. I knew that really isn't how you are as a person." She says.

"Thank you so much. I was worried that this visit would be awkward." I say.

"Why would you think that?" She asks.

"Well after I that happened and stuff, I thought you hated me." I explain.

"Oh no, dear! You are to lovable to hate. Now I also wanted to ask you, when are you going to marry Kirstin?" Her mom says.

"What?" I ask.

"When are you going to ask her to marry you? You two already have one child together and another one on the way. It's time to get married." She says.

"To be honest, I never really thought about it." I confess.

"I'm not forcing anything, but here. This was my mothers ring. Kirstie has always loved it. If you do plan to propose, do it with this ring." She says handing me a small ring box.

I take it and place it in my pocket while standing up.

We walk back in the house and we hear Kirstie in the bathroom.

"Are you okay, sweetie?" Her mom asks.

"Just a little morning sickness." She says walking back out of the bathroom.

**Kirstie POV**
We all walk into the living room so Rose and crawl around and play for a little bit before we go over to Scott's parents.

"So how was your talk?" I ask my mom and Scott.

Scott looks over at my mom before answering me.

"It was good." He says with a smile.

"I just wanted to clear the air with Scott. I wanted to tell him how proud of him I am for getting the help he needed." My mom says.

"That's great! I couldn't stand it if you two didn't get along." I say.

"Everything's okay, babe." Scott says with a smile.

I'm glad everything between Scott and my mom are good now.

I would hate it if they didn't get along.

They both mean the world to me.
