It had been a week since I moved into my new place and I had to say, I was enjoying this place way more than I thought I would. Almost everyday me and Jackie would get to hang out, not to mention I had started to develop a friendship with Mark. We had exchanged numbers on YouTube the night I arrived and since then we had been texting each other everyday. I had to admit, his corny selfies and texts never failed to make me laugh. We had planned on doing a drunk collaboration of ostrich island to celebrate me moving in. Looking at my phone and seeing it was 5pm I decided that I should go to the store to get my drinks for tonight. I grabbed my keys and headed out the door, running into mark as I stepped outside. "Well hellooo babyyyy~ " he said in that deep voice of his. I chuckled as I closed my door and locked it. "So where are ya headed Mr markimoo?" I asked curiously as we walked down the steps together. "Just going to the liquor store to pick up a few bottles for tonight. What about you?" I laughed and swung my keys around my finger."the same actually." He looked at me surprised for a second and then smiled. "wanna get in my car and ride with me? It'll save you gas." I could feel my cheeks heating up a bit. "Sure, thanks" I flashed him a smile and he returned it as we climbed into the car. Over the last couple days I had noticed my feelings for the dark haired man start to grow stronger than those of admiration. Whenever he spoke shivers went down my spine, and I often found myself getting butterflies in my stomach when he was around. Of course these feelings of mine were far from love, even though I had 'known' him for a couple years , I had really only known him for a week. These feelings were more of those you got when you saw your crush in high school. But even so, I couldn't deny I was attracted to this man. I watched as mark danced to a song playing on the radio, turning it up and looking at me with a derpy look on his face. I burst out laughing as I felt tears form in the corners of my eyes. "There's something wrong with you, but it's a good thing" he grinned and pulled into the parking lot. We parked the car and started walking to the store. I entered and went down one of the far right isles, grabbing a bottle of cinnamon whiskey. I watched as mark rounded the corner with a bottle of Jack Daniels and another bottle of vodka. "I like a girl who can take whiskey" he gave me a playful wink and I rolled my eyes. I followed him to the checkout counter, paying for our stuff before heading back to the car. The drive back was filled with marks crazy antics, and somehow we ended up singing an awful, tone deaf duet. We finally arrived back at the apartment and I said goodbye to him as I walked into my apartment, greeted by a purring cat. "Hey there baby." I smiled at her as I sat down the bottle on the table, reaching in a cabinet and pulling out her treats, placing some on the floor for her as her slender frame wrapped around my ankles.

As 8pm rolled around I unpacked the whiskey, pouring a shot and quickly swallowing. I paused as I felt the burning sensation travel from my throat to my stomach. I shook my head slightly as the after taste hit me, my nose scrunching up. "Geeze... I forgot how strong this stuff is.." I heard my phone vibrate, checking the screen to see a message from Mark. 'We'll start recording at 9 is that okay with you?' I smiled as I texted back my reply. 'hell yeah'. I placed the phone back on the table before pouring another shot, taking the bottle and glass to my recording room. I sat back in my chair, spinning around slowly in it as I stared up at the ceiling. A few minutes later a Skype call from Mark popped up on my computer screen. I looked at it a bit confused but quickly clicked the green phone icon. His face soon popped up on the screen and he gave me a goofy waive. "Hey what's up?" I asked smiling as I slipped my headphones over my ears. "Nothing, I just got bored. Did ya start drinking yet?" I grinned as I held up the shot glass of Carmel liquid, shooting it and then shaking my head. "Nope, I don't drink." He laughed and followed by taking a shot of what I assumed to be vodka. "Yeah me either." We talked for a little while longer until both of us started to feel a little buzzed. Deciding it was time to start the game we started to record and signed onto the game, my ostrich spawning beside his. "Hello everybody I'm here with (y/n) and today were playing ostrich island, drunk." I waived at my camera and started to run around the island, jumping on top of the eggs. I ran into the water, my character dying as I let out a disappointed "oh...". "What happened there (y/n)" I looked down and my keyboard with a blank stare before speaking. "Apparently, ostriches are not fish." I heard Mark bust out laughing on the other end. "That's a fact, an ostrich fact. Gotta write that down." I took another shot and ran towards marks ostrich, walking into him until we both started to climb into the air. The both of us laughed uncontrollably as we tried to get our drunken selves together. "Ostriches can fly! Second ostrich fact!" I watched as we fell and started running towards the other end of the island. "I can't get this egg help meee" I ran over to his ostrich, following his suggestion to climb on top of him as I jumped up and grabbed the egg. "Oh my god (y/n), your butt is so big." He said in a sassy voice and I laughed at the joke, but felt my cheeks growing a little hot.

We finished recording the episode, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't drunk. I exited out of the game and turned my attention back to the Skype screen with the image of (y/n) on it. I could tell she was drunk as well. I couldn't tell if it was the alcohol or what, but I felt my heart skip a beat when she smiled at me. I had noticed the signs earlier, feeling a bit nervous around her, getting happy when I received a text from her. I was getting feelings for her, and frankly I didn't know what to do. I'd never really had many relationships, and I wasn't someone who knew a lot about the subject. I mean I had a couple puppy love relationships in high school, but they never lasted long. "Hey, do you mind if i come over and drink with you for a bit?" She grinned and nodded. "Get over here, let's celebrate our first collab, and my first video since I've moved here. " I smiled and shut down my computer, grabbing the vodka and going to her door, knocking on it before I turned the knob and entered. "Heyyyy~ " she cooed as I entered and I smiled, sitting down on the couch next to her as she turned on south park. We drank for a bit and laughed as I tried copying cartman. As the episode ended we began to talk about her past, where she was from, little things of that nature. I enjoyed learning more about her, but eventually I zoned out while starring at her, getting lost in her bright (e/c) eyes. They were so full of life and I couldn't stop myself from staring. Eventually I caught myself scanning her face, taking in every detail. "You're so beautiful..." The words slipped out before i could catch myself, and I saw her eyes widen. I felt my face flush as I got up and started walking towards the door, feeling embarrassed. "S-sorry, I'm just drunk. I don't know what I'm thinking.. have a nice night." As I started walking out the door I heard a voice speak up. "Mark wai-" I closed the door and stepped over to my apartment, sliding down to the floor and leaning against the door in a drunken haze. The palm of my hand rested on my forehead as I mentally scolded myself. "Dammit Mark.. you can't bring her into this.. you know that. "
