For my beloved Jason Michael Rice Sr. May you rest in paradise my angel
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dark and light gray clouds filled the sky with dead beautiful trees surrounding us all. The grass was a dark green that was damp and fresh with pretty dying flowers.
Oh the air was so wonderful, the breeze swirling around in a coldness. Beautiful brown, red and yellow leaves flying around. Adding a touch of colorfulness during this gray rainy day.
These days were my kind of days.
It was a gorgeous day and I wanted to be outside more then anything. Just gawking out the window and feeling the cold wind hit me, made me want to run freely like a wild animal.
I always wondered what it felt like to be free and not having to worry about anything. The last time I've been outside was years ago. I can't go out there or anywhere, my stepmother told me that I'm only allowed in the house.
If I could break out and dance in the rain I would, even if it's just for a few seconds.
I have no chance of breaking free though, my stepmother watches my every move. The only time she leaves me alone is when I'm up here in the attic or should I say my room.
To be completely honest with you, I feel like I'm Cinderella sometimes. Locked up in the attic and treated horribly by the stepmother.
All though sweet Cinderella gets a beautiful happy ending. While I get nothing, I mean I don't know if there will be a happy ending for me. I don't know if I'm ever going to make it out of this place for what I did.
Let me feel you in on what I did that I didn't mean to do. I killed my stepmothers youngest son Jasper. I had every right to, I was defending myself.
Everyone thought Jasper was kind, lovely, sweet etc, but he wasn't! He was selfish, mean, stubborn and so many other rude things. They thought he was an 'angel' but he wasn't one.
He was basically the freaking devil for crying out loud.
He used to do so many horrible things to me that I did not like one bit. So one night I grabbed my silver stake and pierced it right into his heart.
I almost forgot to tell you that my stepmother is a vampire. Yes that it is right, a vampire. I freaked out the moment her son Jasper bit down into my neck. No I am not a vampire, if you're wondering.
I'm still complete human! But however if I die I do become a vampire, thanks to my evil stepmother. So my plan is trying not to die and trying not to become a blood sucking devil like her.
I never knew vampires existed but hey you just never know, right? For all I know there could be talking mermaids or goblins living beneath us. Who knows? Maybe other mystery, dark, magical creatures exist.
I see a pretty dark blue butterfly fly inside the room. It slowly lands on the tip of my finger, this butterfly was beautiful. It had a few little white spots on its wings that made it look even more beautiful.
I admired it and it quickly flew away by the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs. I knew exactly who was coming up and I instantly closed my window and sat on the couch.
The door wiggled a little and opened up then there stood my stepmother, Caroline.
She had long black hair that was braided beautifully. Her skin was somewhat soft and pale. The color of her eyes were a chocolate brown but before she fed on innocent humans and allowed her fangs to show, her eyes turned to complete darkness. They were like pitch black and it looked very terrifying.
