*Sam*

I hear a scream and sit straight up.

I slowly get out of my bed and walk towards my door, careful not to get caught by any of the staff.

Honestly afraid of what I might see, I close my eyes and take a deep breath in preparation.

Unfortunately, that couldn't and wouldn't prepare me for the sight before me.

As I look out the door there she is, she's being restrained by two hospital workers as she's writhing around in their arms.

"NO SAM, GO BACK!" She screams, this time using her words.

I couldn't move.

I stood in shock as I tried to process what I was seeing.

The workers looked at me, I shuddered.

They were demons. Behind them, was him.

Before I could move, they took her into the next room where I could still hear her screaming in agony.

I snapped awake in a hot sweat, looking around grasping at the fact that I was dreaming and I am still stuck in this forsaken place.

With a knock on my door the nurse came in, gave me my pills, made small talk and then left.

I sit on my bed and stare at the ceiling as the pills kick in.

I closed my eyes for a split second and heard someone at my door.

I opened one eye very slowly to see the mystery girl standing there.

As I watched her, she was watching me, very intently.

She walks over to me and sits in the chair.

"I know you're awake, Sam." Both of my eyes opened.

"How do you know my name?" I looked at her as I pushed myself up. I was honestly waiting for her eyes to flicker or some sort of teeth to emerge from her gums or face.

She hesitated, but I don't say anything.

"Your wrist band silly." She looked away.

She's lying, but I don't say anything.

"You never got close enough to see my wristband."  I state, quite concerned as to how she knows who I am. She stood up.

"Well, I'll see you around kid." She winked and walked out of my room.

So, I sit in my bed absolutely dumbfounded and confused as to what just happened.

I swing my legs over to one side of the bed and take a deep breath.

Then I hear a crash.
