I've been sitting on my bed for twenty minutes.

I hear a light knock on the door, then her quiet voice.

"Sam, are you okay? Can I...can I come in?" I can only imagine her standing there, not sure what to do.

"Yeah, come in, it's open." The door slowly opens and she stands in the doorway.

"So um, breakfast is getting cold." She tries to make light conversation while avoiding eye contact.

"Look, Andy, you don't have to be like this with me." I say sincerely. She looks at me, confused.

"Like what?" We make eye contact and I can't help but get lost in hers.

"All, nervous and not sure of yourself. It was just a kiss, if that's what you want to make it." She sighs.

"But it wasn't just a kiss. It was more, but I can't make anything of it and it's honestly killing me." She stands up, and begins to pace.

"Andy. I don't know how much longer I have with you. So why don't you just let go and live a little." She stopped.

"Live a little? Sam. If I even think about being with you, I'll lose my job." Her eyes watered a little, but then she composed herself.

"So you're saying your job is more important than your happiness and what your heart wants?" I step closer to her.

"Yes. Sam. It is. If I can't be with you, then doing my job is the closest thing I have to loving you." She turns around and heads for the door.

"Andy, wait." She looks over her shoulder.

"Just forget it. Come eat." Then she walks down the hallway leaving me even more confused than I was thirty minutes ago.

I stand there for a moment before following her direction to the kitchen.

There are pancakes and a piece of fruit on a plate.

Dean has clearly already eaten at least three servings.

Andy probably hasn't eaten anything.

I sit down to eat and she joins me a few minutes later.

I feel her watching me as I eat.

Dean walks in.

"So I just got a call from Nevada, just a simple ghost thing. So I'll be gone for three days max. Any longer and I'll call you."

"Dean, let me go with you." I plead.

Dean and Andy exchange looks, she nods her head.

"Awesome. We're leaving in ten." Dean says. We all split ways and are in the car in eight minutes.

"So, I get to go on a hunt with THE Sam and Dean Winchester. Boy, am I going to be the talk of the town when I go home." She whispers and laughs lightly.

I look in the rearview and her face quickly tightens, as if she didn't think I heard her.

"If all you two are going to do is make google- eyes at each other, please exit the vehicle now." Dean pipes up, seeming upset but I can hear the slightest bit of happiness in his voice.

This is going to be a long ride.
