Marinette sat still, looking Adrien right in the eyes. Stammering, she said "W-what?" Her voice was so quiet that a normal human being wouldn't be able to hear it. But of course, his miraculous was a big advantage to Adrien as he could hear as well as a cat could.
He cleared his throat. "You were right in front of me the whole time. How could I not have noticed sooner?" He gazed at her lips for a moment. "Bugaboo? Are you going to say something?"
The only thing that Marinette could get out was a weak "C-chat?" A single tear rolled down her eye. Adrien softly wiped it away.
"Yes m'lady, it is me." He winked at her.
Marinette was still speechless. Realizing this, Adrien hugged her very tightly, giving her all the love she deserved and more.
He heard Marinette sob. He tried to pull away to check on her but she stopped him.
"Don't. I'm not sad. I'm just..." She sighed. "...really, really happy right now." She could feel him smile, and that warmed up her heart.
They just stayed like that for a while, embracing each other. When they finally seperated, they connected their foreheads and Marinette leaned in for a kiss.
It was an innocent kiss, but also a passionate one. They felt the tingle, the butterflies in their stomachs.
The world around them was no more. It was only them.
"I love you Adrien Agreste."
"So do I, Marinette Dupain Cheng."
