Kanda shot up from the bed, screamig half to death. His skin paleand clammy, tears streamed down his face. His head pounding.
"Kanda?" Bryn mumbles, pushig herself uprigt into a sitting position and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. He dosnt reply. Tears stil stain his cheeks, leaking from his chin and dripps onto the sheets. Bryn stares in shock, seeing him cry for the FIRST time in er life.
"Kanda!" she says once more, this time more lively and with consern laced in her voice. She places a hand on his back. He flinches and looks up at her, his eyes almost as big as a young childs, and throws himself into her arms. His sholders shook as he held in his sobs.
"Kanda, what happened? Are you alright?"
Giving her no responce, he looks up at her with red and puffy eyes. He shakes his head no, answering her quetion.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
Once more, he shakes his head no. His sobs died down into small snifles. He scooks down further into the bed, resting his head in her lap, arms loosely wrapped around her waist. Bryn smiled. Stroking his hair, she began to hum a soothing lullaby that her parents once sang to her when she was young. She listened to see of Kanda had fully calmed down. His breathig was slow and even.
He must've fallen asleep, she thought giggling to herself. Turning off the lamp light, she closes her eyes and stayed in that possition, not wanting to wake up or disturb the sleepig fugure that layed in her lap. She kept humming until she too had fallen asleep. Both Kanda and Bryn slept peacefully for the ret of the night in each other's embrace......
