Hi justshinex! So, how did you come up with your username?

There was this blog that I used to follow on Tumblr called f-ckyeahjustshine and I thought it was pretty...inspirational, so I used it.

It is pretty inspirational! I'm a Tumblr fan oh and I'm also a real big fan of your book The Ex Best Friend, and I believe at one point I cried - do you expect that kind of reaction from your readers? Did you really make sure to put as much emotion as possible in your writing?

Definitely not. I never, never, ever, never expected that I would get any kind of reaction. When I first started writing, I was just a girl who was trying to get all of these wild fantasies out of my head, haha. As for the emotion, I really try to put the reader in the character's shoes, I mean reading is boring without any emotion.

I agree, reading is definitely nothing without any emotion. How did you discover Wattpad? - were you a reader first or a writer?

I discovered Wattpad one day when I was trying to read a real published book for free on the internet. I immediately got sucked in by one of the books on the What's Hot list, so yeah I was a reader first :)

Have you ever cried on a book?

Yeahhhh. I cried while reading the end of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and about 7 times during the last Harry Potter book. I got teared up some other times but that's it.

Are you planning on carrying on with Can You Keep It? and Camp Not So Fun?

Well...I'm not planning to stop with those stories. I don't really have time to write a lot, seeing from my month-spanned uploads, but I don't know. I haven't given up on them. Yet. :)

That's great to hear. I would love to start reading those too soon. Have you got any top favourite Wattpad books and authors?

My favourite Wattpad author would probably be aprilbrookeshire! She's so inspirational, and I just googled her and turns out one of her books are published now. As for favourite stories, other than aprilbrookeshire's books, I like The Billion Dollar Girl, Enemies With Benefits, The Last Dance.

Thanks for the recommendation. Definitely going to check aprilbrookeshire out! I love The Billion Dollar Girl too! So, when did you start writing?

Um. Wow I can't remember. Technically, I started writing whenever my first story was published. But when I was younger I used to have all these ideas in my head that I tried to write by hand.

For Oh, It's On, have you already planned how it's going to end or can the readers affect your decision on who Stella's going to end up with?

I already know in my head who Stella's going to end up with, but the readers reeeeeeeeeally swayed me! At first there were only two clear paths - Jace of Josh, but now they through in a Cameron, and a part of me really likes Stella/Cameron pairing.

Well, I'd just like to say that I'm team Jace all the way! I just can't see Stella and Cameron together and well, Josh... hm... I don't like him that much. Are you fond of writing cute scenes or are you the type of person to squeal too much or cringe when writing them? I kind of picture you as the squealing writer. :P

I do squeal. Sometimes I have to set aside my laptop and take some deep breaths.

Haha! Well, I think that's exactly what I do anyway when I read your chapters. How does it feel like to have thousands and thousands of admirers around the world? Did you ever expect to have this much readers?

It's...indescribable. Sometimes it just really hits me like "Wow, I can't believe all these people like what I write". When I first started writing, I never thought I'd have this much. I never thought I'd have any actually haha.

Are you planning on pursuing your writing career?

Um I thought about it, but writing's just sort of a hobby of mine and not something I can see myself seriously doing.

If not on Wattpad, what do you usually do?

My homework and I'm not even kidding. I watch a lot of TV and spend more time than I should on the internet :)

Sounds a lot like my life! Haha! What sort of music do you like to listen to?

I don't really have a genre, but my favourite artists are Taylor Swift, One Direction, Maroon 5, Marianas Trench, OneRepublic, and Jesse McCartney.

Awesome. I love Maroon 5 too and I guess if you like any of the One Direction boys, you would have to fight with a lot of fan girls! Haha! Any more? Messages for fans, etc? :)

I just want to say a REALLY big thank you to every who reads my stories! It really means a lot to me that you guys don't even get bored even after I "disappear" for long periods of time. Really, you're amazing.

I, personally think no one could ever just stop being your fan and I'm not even trying to suck up! Haha! Thank you so much for allowing me to do this and I do hope to see more works from you in the future!
