A Small Problem ((Supernatural Fanfic))

Day 6

((Sorry I haven't updated in forever I've just been so wrapped up in school and twd that I haven't gotten the chance :P also this chapter will contain spoilers for TWD S7E1 so beware!))

It was time. The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere was starting. Charlie, Kevin, Crowley, Dean, Sam, and mini Cas all snuggled on the couch after saying goodbye to Garth because he couldn't stay, unfortunately.
"Here it is guys!! I'm so excited!!!" Charlie squealed.
"Me too!!" Said Kevin. "Who do you think got the bat?!"
"I think it was Abraham! Or Eugene maybe..?"
"Nah it was totally Glenn!!"
Dean interrupted. "Guys can you shut up it's on." He chuckled as he saw them both turn crimson and look at the TV screen.

The intro began and it showed the same scene that was in the sneak peek "Right Hand Man" trailer.
"Oh, flashbacks? My my that's smart~" Crowley purred as he watched intently.
"Right?" Sam added as his heart sped up.
The eeny meeny miny moe scene was starting, but this time around they'd know who got it. "Dean I'm frightened.." Cas gulped and gripped onto a piece of Dean's flannel.
"I am too Cas" Dean admitted as he gently held the small angel closer.
"Shit shit shit" Charlie hid behind Kevin and peeked around his shoulder, and he held onto her arm, his heart racing.

Negan swung Lucille around. "...And you...."
Everybody felt like they were on the verge of a heart attack.
"...are..."
Sam squeezed his eyes shut and dug his nails into Crowley's arm as the tension ate him up.
"..it."
Lucille pointed at Abraham.
Everyone gasped and Charlie and Kevin burst into tears.
"Not Abraham!!"
Negan finished the line they'd heard on the Season 6 finale and the bat came down. Hard. All of them flinched and screeched when Lucille came into contact with Abe's head. "Oh my God!!!" Charlie covered her head with a pillow as the brutal beat-down continued.

*COMMERCIAL BREAK*

"Why Abraham though?!?" Charlie was crying and Kevin hugged her. "I don't know... I loved him.."
"Guys it's back on!!!" Sam yelled. Everyone swooped to the couch as it started with another flashback. Negan was taunting Rosita with the now bloody Lucille and Daryl stood up and socked Negan.
"Daryl what are you DOING?!!" Kevin shouted.
"Oh my God!! No no!! No!!!" Charlie's breathing quickened.
Negan talked for a moment.
"I swear if they kill Daryl.." Dean mumbled as he held a crying Cas close.

"I don't want you to get the wrong impression of me. I need you..to know me."
Charlie was tearing up again.
"So.." Negan raised Lucille. "Back to it." He whipped around suddenly and hit Glenn twice.
"Bollocks.." Crowley gasped in disbelief.
Charlie screamed and fell in the floor, crying.
Kevin was crying as well, Sam's mouth was hanging open as he watched the scene in horror. Cas had his eyes shut tight and buried his tiny face in Dean's arm. Dean stared at the screen mumbling, "oh my God" repeatedly.

The situation only got worse when Glenn sat back up. "His eye!!!" Charlie shouted through her tears.
Kevin gagged and covered his mouth. "I'm- I'm gonna be sick.." he looked away from the screen.
Dean and Sam's faces twisted into looks of disbelief and disgust while Charlie continued bawling.
Kevin was able to look back after a minute and then... the feels.
"Maggie I- I'll find you.."
Everyone- even the King of Hell himself, cried.

Then Negan stepped in yet again.

"Oh I see this is hard on you guys... I'm sorry... I truly am. But I did say.." He cheerfully held up the bat, "no exceptions!!" He turned and whacked Glenn across the face again and again and again as Charlie's cries became earsplitting, repetitive, screams. Castiel covered his face and cried silently as Dean tried to comfort him. "I know Cas, I know. Just don't look..." He held the small angel in his palm.

*Time skip brought to you by crippling depression*

The end of the episode was drawing near and everyone had cried at least 15 more times. When Rick almost got devoured by the herd, seeing Rick break when Carl almost got his arm chopped off and just seeing Carl almost get his arm chopped off in general, seeing the group after the beatings, that guy in the back taking a picture of Glenn's bashed head, Negan taking Daryl with him, Maggie and Carl's moment after the Saviors had left, the walker stopping to eat what was left of Abraham's head and brain, and now this.... an alternate reality to how things could've been if it weren't for Negan. The whole group, around a dinner table, Glenn and Abraham still alive, Glenn with his new baby, Sasha expecting, all of them, happy, together, alive.

When the scene started, Charlie stood up. "I can't. I can't do this."
Kevin stood up as well, tears filling his eyes. "Hey hey Charlie, come here." He pulled her into a hug as she cried again. Sam and Dean were blowing their noses and Crowley had tears streaming down his face. Castiel still had his face buried in his hands.

The episode ended on a closeup of Glenn and Abe sitting at the end of the table.

"Think about what happened.........."

*Later that night*

"Heya Cas, you feeling any better yet..?" Dean asked as he walked into his room over to the nest he'd made for the tiny angel.
"No. Still... depressed. I don't like this." Dean sighed and picked him up, then placed a kiss to the side of his head.
"Yeah I know. You'll get through it. It was a tough premiere."
Dean thought,
"You wanna sleep with me tonight instead of in your nest?"
"Sure Dean. It'd make me feel a lot better because you comfort so well."
Dean blushed and smiled sheepishly.
"Well alright if you say so. " he chuckled and got his pajamas on, then laid down in the bed. Cas got next to him.
"One more day and you'll be your normal size again. Aren't you happy?"
"Yeah. I'm happy about that."
They both smiled and eventually fell asleep.
