chapter 14

SCOTT POV

Mitch nudged me with his elbow and I looked down to see tears in the chocolate brown eyes I love. 

"What's wrong princess?" 

"He's here." he said, his voice cracking.

"Who?"

"Luke." 

The waiter walked over and smiled. "Do you guys need anything?"

"The check please." I say quickly 

"Wai-" I gave Kirst a look. "Never mind." She said sitting back in her chair. 

"Alright, I'll just be a bit." 

"Thanks." Mitch mumbled

"It's okay, whatever you need, really." 

"Yeah.." 

Somehow I knew he didn't quite trust me right now, which is still understandable because of what I did. 

The waiter comes back with the check and in minutes we were out of there, only getting a look from Luke. 

MITCH POV 

I am honestly so happy to get out of there, and glad to have Scott with me again. I still refuse to believe he actually loves me, or that he thinks I am as gorgeous as he says. And there is no way I have much of a future with him, outside of friendships. I simply can't trust him after what happened, after Luke, Him and Elliot and everything else. He doesn't love me, he is probably doing what he does out of pity. But I will take pity, because I love him. 

I stare off into the crowd of people walking through the plazas, thinking about him, us, the fans, and more importaintly what I should do. 

"What's up M?" Kevin asked as we walked into a candy shop. 

I jumped, as if broken from a daydream, or a nightmear. "Uh.. just thinking..." 

"Hey.. It's alright, you can always talk to me." I looked over at the others laughing and talking amongst the candy. 

"I don't know that to do."

"About?"

"Scott.. I don't know what to do, I mean I think he loves me but what if he doesn't?"

"He does, You should know that, now lets get candy."

"I don't know..." 

"What is it this time Mitchy?" 

"I don't want to get fatter than I am already."

"Are you kidding?" He said pulling his arm up to mine. "You are like a stick compared to me. Now you are going to get candy because I know they have some of your favorites." 

"Okay!" I said smiling. "Kev?"

"Yeah?" 

"Thanks, you always know how to help." 

"No prob."

And so I got candy. A lot of it. Two bags to be exact. Honestly I do have a sweet tooth. 

"Hey.. That's different. What happened?" Scott asked, grabbing my free hand. 

"You can thank Kevin for the confidence booster. I am feeling better now." 

"That's great babe." 

We walked out of the shop and everyone called uber for a ride back to their houses. I sat in the car and smiled, I am okay here, for now.
