Chapter 3

"Homecoming"

Days past by and James and I are just wonderful. We've been studying together so we've been hanging out a lot. He took me on a date and it was so cute. We went to Olive Garden and we had a fun time. Everything has been great. 

It's already 7 O' clock and I'm getting ready for the homecoming game. I have my hair curled I'm wearing my cheerleading outfit. I have my red lipstick and I'm fixing up my mascara.

"Hey Tori you ready?" I hear Daisy scream over the screams of the people.

"Yea I just finished doing my makeup." I yell back at her while putting my makeup in my bag.

I walk out of the bathroom and start walking with Daisy to the bleachers.

There are a lot of people here at the game. Today we're playing against our rivals Ellington high home of the Great Whites. This is the biggest game of the year. Both sides were filled with people cheering and screaming.

Daisy and I go down to the field all the cheerleaders are on the track field. The game is about to start all the cheerleaders start running to our end.

We start doing little cheers just to get the crowd pumped up. Then all of a sudden the crowd is screaming. I turn and look to see that James intercepted the pass.

James runs towards our end. The Great Whites try to block him but James makes his way through them.  The crowd is screaming and everyone on their feet. James is running as fast as he can. Then it happens James makes the touchdown. Everyone cheering and screaming.

"Thats the end of the first half the score is 23 to 19. Now for our half time performance from our cheerleaders. Let's hear it for our cheerleaders." Mr. Stevenson the schools dean voice booms through the speakers.

The crowd cheers and claps as we get into position. We do a little cheer and the music starts. Applause by Lady Gaga plays from the speakers.  All the cheerleaders starts to do our routine. I feel the music the cool breeze hitting my skin every time I turn or do a flip.

you can hear everyone cheer and scream as we do our routine. the song ends we all pose and then the crowd stands and cheers. All the cheerleaders go back to the bleachers I stop as I hear a very familiar voice call my name.

"Victoria!" the voice calls.

I turn around to see that James is calling me.

"Hey babe." I say with a smile as James hugs me.

"You did good out there love."

"Thanks I hope you win the game." I tell him.

"Don't worry as long as your cheering for me we'll win this game." James says and kisses me forehead.

"OK love good luck." I say and kiss his cheek.

I go to the bleachers with the rest of the cheerleaders. the game goes pretty well a lot of people stare at me from time to time because I get really into the game. the game goes back and forth first we have more points and then they have more points.

its finally the 4th quarter everyones nerves and blood is pumping fast we're all going crazy. we only have 15 more minutes In the game. The great whites has the ball they throw the ball and James intercepts the pass. James runs toward the touch down end.

the whole crowd goes wild everyone is on their feet. I'm screaming at the top of my lungs my heart is pumping. James is running as fast as he can. The great whites try to surround james, but Zac, Danny and Ben are helping James get to the end of the field so he could make the touchdown.
