Chapter 5: Should We Do This?

Its now Halloween and Zac is having a Halloween party at his house. I can't wait this is going to be a fun party. I'm going as Princess Aurora and James is going as Prince Phillip. Zac's parents are out of town for a while so he decided to throw a Halloween party. Zac said that there is going to be a lot of food and drinks. The music will be played on Zac's DJ set that he had got a few years back. Zac has always wanted to be a DJ and he's pretty good, he has done some gigs at some of our friends parties.

I'm just putting on the finishing touches on my costume. I don't like going out and buying one for they never actually look like the actual thing. I just finished with the dress and the crown. I had some pink heels from a few months back when Daisy had her quince. I start getting my makeup, brush, hair curler, and my perfume out so I could start getting ready. I look at the time and its 6:35 the party starts at 9 and James is picking me up at 8 so we could go out and eat.

I start curling my hair making sure I don't make my hair too curly. Then while I'm curling my hair I hear my mother come up the stairs. She is most likely just coming back from work. As I put my curler down and brush my hair I see my door open from the corner of my eye. I turn to the door seeing its my mom I put down the brush and I give her my full attention.

"Hi mom how was work?"

"It was fine you know how it is stressful so many paper work and helping out people to prove that they're innocent but yea, so I'm guessing your going out tonight?"

"Yea Zac is having a party at his house my friends and I are going. Zac's parents are out of town for a while and Zac thought it would be fun to throw a party he asked his parents before actually throwing it of course." I say reassuring her.

"Ah yes I've seen Mrs. Moore at the market the other day she was telling me about going on trip. Umm James is picking you up yes?"

"Yes he is, he's picking me up around 8." I inform her.

"Oh ok I hope you have a fun and safe party and if you need anything just ask me. Oh and will you be sleeping over at Mrs. Moore's house or will you becoming home?"

"Well I'm going to come back home, but umm is it fine if James sleeps over?"

"Ok and yes that's fine I was just asking so I could either make sure if the door is unlocked or not."

"Oh you can lock the door I'll make sure I have my key with me."

"Ok darling is there anything you need?"

"Umm yea there is actually do you think you could help me get the Aurora look?"

"Yes of course dear." She says as she walks over to me.

My mom starts on my hair and then does my makeup. I've always loved when my mom helped me out for I always thought she should be like a hair stylist. My mother finishes and I look at myself in my mirror. My eyes widen for the girl I see in the mirror does not look like me.

"Mom oh my god thank you I love it I look amazing." I say I shock.

"Really? I think I could of done better." She says sort of shyly.

"What are you talking about you made me look amazing thank you so much."

"I'm glad you like it darling well I'm going to lay down now."

"Ok thank you again."

"No problem darling have fun tonight."

"I will." I say as she leaves the room.

I grab the dress and I slip it on. I put on my high heels and the crown. I look at myself and I look absolutely amazing I could so play Aurora in like a movie. I hear my phone go off and I get it from my bed. I look at the name and its James.
