"I love you
For all that you are
All that you have been
And all you're yet to be"
~12 hours, 30 minutes, and 46 seconds~
Elle groans as the loud ring of her alarm clock goes off, signaling for the 4th time that she needed to get up. But with a simple flick of her hand, the alarm shuts off, and the clock was sent once more into snooze.
It was the first day of school, and to those people who like to stay up all night, this occasion doesn't take too lightly. It was 6:45am, and classes started at 7:45am. Knowing that she has to leave at 7:00, she turns back into her original position on her bed.
'I still have 5 more minu...' She drifted back slowly into sleep, a small amount of drool pooling on her pillow. And only because of the banging on her door- from her slightly irritated mother who wanted to go back to sleep- that she finally decided to get up.
Turning off the clock, Elle wiped the drool off her chin before actually standing up. Because she wasted most of her time that morning sleeping, all she had time for was to throw on a simple t-shirt and her favorite jeans. She spared a second to look at the time left on her arm. It was today, she knew that. And she hated it. She wanted at least a few more days before she was forced into a relationship she really didn't want to have.
She gave no thought to her appearance, however. Adding to her look by pulling on a loose jacket, followed by a pair of high-top Converses. Sticking her messy brown hair into a messy bun, Elle grabbed her keys, as well as a bagel, and rushed out of the door.

Jourdan
~08 hours, 25 minutes, and 16 seconds~
Jourdan had awaited this moment his whole life. Apparently being the romantic in the family, he could only imagine what his soulmate would look like- hair as golden as the sun, with tan skin, and deep water blue eyes. That was always his favorite image of her.
The clock read 11:50am. Jourdan laid back down and couldn't help but smile. A small feline rubbed up against his bare torso, tickling him with her fur.
"Can you believe it, Buttercup?" He said, picking up his cat and waving her into the air. "Today is the day that I'll finally meet the girl that I'll love. I wonder what her name's gonna be?" He asked, letting Buttercup go as he rolled around, onto his stomach.
Spending a few moments to think, he began speaking to himself once more. "Maybe it's something foreign? Like Natasha... no. Something Elegant. Elle.... Ellette! That could be her name!"
Jourdan decided to get up, with much more energy than most days. Ever since he graduated, he'd stay up most night playing games and talking to friends. But now that most of his buddies went to college, he'd been by himself for the past few weeks, rarely stepping out of his room.
He changed his shirt 4 times, even though he planned on taking a shower before he went. He actually felt nervous about meeting her- Ellette, he just decided to call her until he learned her true name. But his fear was flooded with excitement.
Humming a cheerful tune, Jourdan walked out of his room, and went straight into the kitchen, where he began making himself something to eat. To be a teenage boy, he had quite the skill in cooking. In just a few moments, he had made a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls, along with a piece of french toast.
