I yawned and sat up in bed. I looked over at the ball sleeping soundly next to me. Too bad we weren't soul mates. I got up and went to the bathroom. I was about to get in when I felt a familiar pair of arms around my waist. I groaned. "Miranda I have to go and get in the shower." She bit my shoulder as a response. I groaned and looked at my wrist. 0 days, 2 hours, 15 minutes and 23 seconds. I sighed. I turned around and forcefully pushed her onto the bed. "You need to sleep." She huffed and crossed her arms. I smirked and pushed myself off of her. I walked into the bathroom and got into the shower. I could hear her squeal and then heard her move stuff around. Probably getting changed. I got out of the shower and almost screamed. I saw her body lying on the ground. There was blood spraying out of her neck and she held a bottle of antidepressants in her hand. A bloody knife was lying on the ground next to her. I called the police. "This is 9-1-1, what is the emergency?" "Someone just committed suicide." The phone went silent for a minute. "I can't help you with that sir. Were they your soul mate?" "No..." "Then good day sir." The operator hung up. I ran to a coffee shop after I got clothes on. 10 minutes 14 seconds. I sat down, heart pacing, breaths shallow. My eyes darted around then I got something on my phone. It was a file. A girl and her number and everything about her. I called the number. "Is this Autumn?" The voice on the other line was sweet and melodic. "Yes.." Who is this?" "My name is Hayden." I glanced at my wrist then at my phone. "I think I'm your soulmate." I could hear her take in a deep breath. Cars were passing by really quickly on her side of the phone and so was mine. I saw a person almost walk into the busy street. I ran and grabbed her waist. Green eyes clashed with grey ones as our watches fell off. "Hello." The phones echoed with the sound of my voice.
