The snow trickled down slowly outside of the car. Some of the delicate, white flakes landed on the windshield like perfect little stars, only to disappear seconds later with the swipe of the wipers. Tessa tucked her hands in the pockets of her thick sweater and leaned her head against the window. Every breath she took was distantly visible in the air. The cool wind seeped through the small crack at the top of the window which created a cooler atmosphere, despite the heat that had blasted through the small vents; at least, she had hoped the heat was on. She let out a breath purposely on the window and with the tip of her finger drew small phrases and pictures on top.
