"Are you really doing what I think you're doing", Noah said as she looked up to see his face that was only visible from the headlights of passing cars. 

"Yes, why do you sound so disappointed?", Tessa said while she gave him a bright smile and crossed her arms. 

Noah let out a genuine laugh and said, "Oh Tessa, don't get all defensive now. My sister and I would always do that when we were kids. We would try and write out phrases backwards so the cars passing by could read it." 

Tessa smiled at the thought of Noah as a child. He was so carefree and full of life, she missed witnessing that side of him.
