Description: Jack comes to visit Mark in L.A. and the two decide to go to a bar to hang out, when a stranger starts hitting on Jack. Mark - who was trying to use the time he had with Jack to impress him and is stuck sober - falls into jealousy, when he notices the stranger doesn't seem to just be innocently trying to hook up with Jack.

"So, Jack, what do you wanna do today?" I asked as we sat on the couch, doing absolutely nothing, but it was a calm nothing. It was nice just to sit with him, knowing I wouldn't be able to after the week is done. It was going to be so difficult saying goodbye to him. I always felt refreshed and happy when he was around. He was like a breath of fresh air that made me feel wonderful.
"I'm not sure, there's not a whole lot left for us to do," He smiled and I nodded in agreement. It was getting late out anyway, so not much was available. "I'd say we could go to a bar, but you can't drink."
"Doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to," I encouraged, an idea popping into mind. Perhaps if he's drunk, it'll make it easier for me to tell him how I feel about him and see how he reacts without him remembering. It would at least give me a hint at what he'd say sober.
"Are you sure? I don't want you to feel weird about it or anything," He giggled a bit, which made me smile brightly.
"No, not at all. I'm curious what drunk Jack is like anyhow," I chuckled and he nodded, getting off the couch and stretching.
"Hopefully you'll think drunk Jack is fun," He grinned and I stood up, patting his arm a bit like I normally do. Somehow doing small gestures like that made me feel powerful or confident.
"Well, let's go."

We arrived at the bar within a few minutes and thankfully it wasn't too packed, but it had gotten much later. I didn't realize until I stepped outside and noticed it was pitch black out. Jack didn't seem tired or anything, so I figured we'd be able to push on. Jack had ordered a shot when we sat down and took it fairly fast, when a random guy sat down next to him. We had hardly been here ten minutes and Jack already downed a shot and had some guy sitting next to him.
"Hi there, I'm Curt," The guy introduced himself, an untouched drink in his hand. "Here, try this. It's smooth."
"I'm Jack," He smiled, then looked to the drink. "What is it?"
"Rum and coke," Curt replied and Jack shrugged, drinking it without second thought, a small smile crossing the guy's lips before he noticed me. "Who's that? Your boyfriend?"
"No, that's Mark, he's my best friend," Jack smiled at me and I sighed internally.
"Well, good to meet both of you," Curt nodded at me, then turned his full attention back to Jack as a worker approached me.
"What can I get you?"
"Just water please," I answered and they nodded, allowing me to look back at Curt and Jack.
"You're so bubbly," Curt noticed, making Jack giggle. "And adorable."
"I-I... Thanks," Jack blushed deeply and I felt myself growing extremely jealous. A song started playing and Jack perked up. "Oh! I love this song! Someone better fucking dance with me!"
"Will do," Curt grabbed his hand, grinning and I was fuming. I took Jack here so I could tell him I'm in love with him and then this guy suddenly pops into the picture and steals him away from me! My water came and I nearly broke the cup from grasping it too hard. Jack and Curt were laughing and dancing to whatever song was playing and he took Jack by the waist.
I suddenly felt sick and excused myself to the bathroom, wanting to throw up and punch a wall. I left the bar and went inside the men's room, immediately looking at my expression, which looked angered. I hated getting jealous so easily, but I can't help myself when it comes to Jack. I washed my face with cold water and exited, heading back to the bar.
My eyes found Jack and Curt again, but this time, Jack was half unconscious and Curt was dragging him out of the building. Worry consumed me and I followed behind closely, until we ended up outside. Curt continued to drag Jack towards a car and managed to open the door, while Jack was trying to protest.
"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?!" I yelled, angrily approaching them.
"He just had too much to drink," Curt blatantly lied, knowing Jack had only had two drinks - one of which were from him. I assumed he slipped something in it before giving it to Jack.
"He had two drinks. Let him go," I demanded, causing him to smile.
"Dude, calm down. Your friend is just a light-weight," He held Jack in a firmer grasp and chuckled.
"He may not be able to handle a lot, but two drinks would not knock him out like that. What did you do to his drink?!" I snapped and he ignored me, beginning to shove Jack into the car. Something inside me snapped and I charged at him before he himself could get in.
I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and threw him onto the ground, sitting on top of him and beginning to repeatedly punch the side of his face. His cheek bursted open from the hits, dropping blood, his eye already started to bruise and swell. The skin on my knuckles were tearing open and mixing my blood in with Curt's.
"Don't you ever touch Jack again, do you hear me?!" I snapped and he winced.
"Y-Yes."
"What did you do to him? What'd you put in his drink?" I demanded, needing to know what it was in case I have to take him to a hospital.
"Rohypnol," He wheezed and I punched him one last time, hearing my knuckles crack at the force. He lay on the ground, unmoving, but I didn't care. My only concern was Jack, who was whimpering in the car. I opened the door and picked him up bridal-style, kissing the top of his head while heading back inside the bar.
"Someone get an ambulance," I called, noticing the bar tender picking up a phone. I wanted to make sure Jack was going to be alright, rather than just bring him home with me and have him wait it out.
He was barely conscious within a few minutes as I heard the ambulance coming. I hugged him tightly in my arms, wishing tonight had gone the way I planned it.
"I love you, Jack," I sighed, just as his eyes closed and the sirens grew closer.
