Chapter 33

She turned around and looked me dead in the eye. Her stare was cold and was full of misery.

I hope she didn't recognize me, I looked down and speed walked past her. I didn't hear a sound from her as I walked by.

We got to room 210 and walked threw, and in to where Cici was laying.

"Kamryn, she looks so....so cold." I said covering my mouth with my hand

"Well she's been out of it since July and it's September." she said sitting in the chair next to the bed

I walked over and looked down, her eyes were closed and a hand was on her chest. The monitor was beeping at a steady rate and an oxygen mask was pumping air into her so she would stay alive. Seeing her, my best friend I don't remember in this condition hurts me. It makes me sad and realize I haven't lived my life to what I should have.

"Excuse me ladies, but I am going to have to ask you to leave." a nurse said

"Why" I asked, giving her a nasty look

"Because, Cici is going to need testing done." She said

"Well can you answer a question for me" I asked

"Anything"

"If I shit on your little clipboard, how mad would you get?" I asked, trying to piss her off

"Please leave" she said

"What? No comeback?" I antagonized

"Leave or I'm calling security" she said gritting her teeth

"What are you gonna do? Arrest me?" I asked

She turned around and before she could pick up the phone I walked over and grabbed her clipboard and snapped it in half,

"Merry fucking Christmas" I said dropping it on the floor and walking out

I walked Dow the hallway pissed off. I heard Kamryn behind me,

"Glad I got you back Rocki" she play punched my arm

"Like you said, I don't take nobody's shit" I smiled

I walked through the door to my house and kicked off my shoes. I shuffled into the living room and plopped on my favorite couch. I recall it being called a chaise lounge.

I looked at my phone and had no texts and so I set it down on the coffee table and put my arms under my head. It was 8:34 pm and I was pooped. I closed my eyes, to soon fall into la la land.

-Next Morning-

I was shaken awake by my teddy bear. Also known as Liam. His cute face, and big brown eyes were staring down at me.

"Rocki, get ready. I have a surprise for you" Liam smiled

"Where are we going" I mumbled rolling my head back into my pillow

"It's a surprise! Get ready, we are leaving in 10" he said walking into the kitchen

I slowly pushed myself up and made my way upstairs. I pushed threw my door and walked into my closet. I grabbed a pair of skinny jeans, and a shirt that was loose around my belly. It made my belly stick out a bit but oh well. I put on my clothes and then slid my White, Blue and purple Jordan's. I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed a sweatshirt.

I walked out of my room and down the stairs to see Liam waiting with a paper bag a bottle of chocolate milk.

"Thanks, you're a sweetheart" I said with a kiss

I opened the door and walked out to the car. I sat in Liam's passenger seat and waited for him . I saw him walk out of the house a minute later, and he slid something in his pocket. He looked a little suspicious...

He opened the door, and sat down.

"Ready?"
