3 pm, Dolphin hotel( a nice one, because now they have all the money to do so)  in florida

Smoke billowed up from the cigarette that lay between his index and middle finger. It hung loosely between them, slowly burning the cigarette away and replacing it with grey ashes.

The blonde eyed the money in front of him, the duffle bag splayed open on the end of the bed as he sat cross legged in front of it. Money was set out in front of him, stacked in fifty and hundred dollar bills. He let out a sigh, taking a puff of the cigarette once again before pulling the glass ash tray from across the bed and towards him. He flicked the rest of the ashes into the completely clear bowl, taking a deep breath in before blowing the smoke out one last time.

"Ehem."

His head turned quickly towards the doorway, eyes wide. His hand shuffled towards the gun underneath his pillow just before he could recognize the male standing at the doorway. His arms were crossed as he leaned against the wall, his shirt almost too tight for the muscled biceps. Deep brown eyes were narrowed thoughtfully as he started down at Niall from the doorway of their room.

"Liam." The blonde spoke, raising his eyebrows. Liam studied his face for a few before walking over, his hands sliding their way into his front pockets. His steps were heavy as his boots hit against the floor with every step.

"Whats up?" Liams voice was low, eyebrows furrowed as he stared down at the other male. His jaw clenching and unclenching as he spoke.

"Honestly, li, im tired. " Niall spoke softly, eyeing the last bit of the money before staring into liams eyes again. Trying to read the larger males thoughts was hard, his eyes not showing too many emotions when he made eye contact.

Not many words were said between the two but so much chemistry was held between them. They never needed to speak to understand one another, it could be a glimpse or a look shown on their faces and the other would notice. But now he couldnt read a single thought etched onto liams face.

"I know what you mean Ni. " his voice was steady, the blonde still forcing himself not to make eye contact. "You can always leave. I can be in charge and you can move on." Of course, liam was always soft around niall but he would never show it around the other boys. They werent as close.

"Im not leaving."

"But you want to. I can tell. "

"Liam. " nialls voice came out in a growl, his eyes sharp and harsh as he shifted his gaze up to where liam stood. The blue in his eyes grew cold, a warning for anyone near to back off but instead the broader male sat down on the bed beside niall, eyebrows still creased together in worry. He slowly placed his hand on the boys knee, sighing in thought, thinking of what to say before he spoke. It was a very Liam thing to do, think before you speak.

"Maybe we should tell the boys to go on in pairs for a few. Maybe a week. Louis and harry, zayn will probably go MIA as normal, and me and you can have our own bit of fun."

Nialls eyes flicked up, observing liams calm facial features as it calmed him down also. "Thats not a bad idea." Niall smiled, scratching along his scruff that he had growing at the bottom of his chin. Liam chuckled.

"So its set ni?"

"Yea, why not. It could be fun to see how we all work together without , well, all of us together."
