"Look, I have a fucking paper due to the magazine by 2:00, I don't have fucking time for this bullshit now send it over or don't get it published. Goddamn idiot" Julie screamed before slamming the phone in the editor's ear. Julie works for a magazine right outside of Ruggsville Alabama. Her phone continued to ring and ring all day. She could barely get anything done. "This Is Julie, How May I Help You" She answered before hearing her best friend Tessa's voice. "Hey girl, I'm crazy busy what's up"? She asked continuing to write in a purple composition book. "Tonight is Jake's birthday remember? You gotta come you promised me you would, there is nobody else gonna be there that I'll know" Julie huffed before asking "What time is it again"? She couldn't stand Jake but would go since she promised Tessa. "8:30 at The Dog Pen" she seemed so excited about it she didn't wanna let her down. "Okay...okay 8:30..." she mumbled out still jotting notes in the purple book. "Did you hear about all this shit happening in Ruggsville, that's too close to home for me" her friend sounded worried. "It's bullshit, the editor is running something about it in his paper this morning, just a bunch of fake bullshit made up to keep people scared at home honestly, I don't believe it" Julie placed her brief case on her desk removing a paper from the side pocket. "YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT? ARE YOU NUTS"? Tessa screamed from the other end of the line. "Well, I Just...I don't know seems so far fetched ya know, scrapbooks detailing over 75 murders...I mean 75 between how many people? I think it's shit honestly I do" She rolled her eyes picking her pen back up and writing "Meeting at 4:00 Wednesday" on a sticky note and placing it on the inside of her brief case. "Look Tessa, I'll See You tonight okay I gotta go finish this article for the magazine it's due by 2:00...I Love You I'll see you tonight" she hung up the phone and continued working on her article for Scene Magazine.

4 Hours Later...

As Julie packed up her papers and brief case To get ready to go to Jake's dreaded party her phone begins to ring. Julie decided to ignore it and let the machine pick up, she was finished for the day and was ready to get out of there. Just as she rambled though her bag to find her car keys, her cell phone started to ring. "Jesus, it's probably Tessa that girl don't give anyone time for shit...fuck me" she looked down at her phone to see it was her Mother, Gina. Julie rolled her eyes but answered anyways. "Hey Mom What's Up"? Julie Asked her mom in a rushed tone. "Hey Sweetie, are you home tonight"? She asked sounding worried. "No Momma, I'm going out with Tessa. Tonight is Jake's birthday and I promised her I'd be there I can't bail on her" Her mom was always so concerned. "Um, you heard about all the stuff going on here in Ruggsville right? I just wanna make sure you are safe wherever you are" She seemed a little more worried then usual. "Mom Really"? She questioned "Why wouldn't I be safe? I'm not even gonna be in Ruggsville" she was starting to get annoyed. "Because Julie"!She paused. "Because they target young girls okay just uhh please be safe" At this point her Mother was getting angry. "Okay Mom..." Julie Sighed "Okay"

"Hey Everyone how are you, happy birthday man" Julie faked a smile and greeted Tessa with a hug. "Hey sweetie thanks for coming" Jake winked at Julie and she shot him a faint smile. Jake was Tessa's Boyfriend that constantly flirted with Julie. "How does his actions not bother you" Julie whispered to Tessa releasing her from her hug. "It's You Julie, you're my best friend I know you ain't gonna do anything with him, he only acts that way with you" she rolled her eyes and walked to the bar. "Wanna drink honey"? She heard an older man call out from the corner table from across the bar. "No thanks, I gotta drive" she replied without even giving the man a glance. "Julie, you have that man's eyes...good god it's kinda creepy how much you look like him wow..." Tessa whispered loudly to Julie. "What the fuck are you talking about Tess"? She asked spinning around to look at the man that was then getting up from his table. Julie locked eyes with the man as he walked past her. She got light headed and almost fell grabbing ahold of the bar as he walked past. "Beautiful eyes" he whispered chuckling out a weird clown like laugh as he walked out of the bar. "Holy fucking shit, Tessa we looked so much alike..." Julie chocked out, tears begin to pile up in her eyes. Julie rummaged through her silver clutch purse to find her cell phone she then dialed her Parents's house phone number. "Hello you have reached Gina and Sean we aren't available at this time please leave your name and number and we'll get back to ya Thanks...*Beep*" Julie could almost feel something was wrong. Her Mom wouldn't go to bed knowing she was out with all this Ruggsville bullshit happening. "Mom, we need to talk answer the phone now, pick up the fucking phone Mom Please" she held on the line seeing if maybe her Mom would finally pick up but still nothing. She figured maybe they had went out to dinner that she would have just one drink and try again. How could she not drink after what she had just encountered? "Mint Mojito, please" she told the bartender grabbing a few bucks from her clutch. "You got it" he said as he begin pouring and mixing.

Before she knew it she had four Mojitos...FUCK "I gotta fucking drive, what the fuck do I do now"? She asked Tessa slamming her clutch down on the table. "I'll just take you home" Tessa grabbed her keys from her bright yellow cross body bag "No, no I gotta have my car I'll be okay I ain't gotta drive far, besides you've been drinking too so it really doesn't matter, I'm gonna go before I drink anything else" Julie unclipped her keys from her clutch and walked to the door. "Happy birthday Jake, see ya later Tessa..." Tessa followed her to the door "Text Me when you get home Please"? She asked looking worried. "Yeah, yeah sure if I don't pass out first" Julie then left the bar. Her best friend stood looking concerned. "If anything happens it's gonna be my fault for making her come Fuck, Jake...I'm worried" Tessa shook her eyes away from the door she had been staring at. "I hope she makes it home"
