Sneaking Out

    Andy stomped up the stairs, slamming his bedroom door behind him. He kicked off his cowboy boots and flung himself down on his mattress. Grabbing the pillow above his head, he covered his face with it and let out a banshee scream. How could she take away his one night a week that he gets to be a somewhat normal teen?! That's not right!! This is so unfair!!!
He sat up on the bed and huffed to himself. "Now what the fuck am I supposed to do with myself?"
Wild Side by Motley Crue blaring from some random place in his bedroom startles Andy from his little temper tantrum. He frantically searched for the source of it, laughing to himself as he discovers that it was just his phone that had been in his pants pocket the entire time. After pulling it from his pants pocket, he unlocked the screen. The screen reads 1 new text message from CC.
Andy smiled to himself as he opened the text message.
"Hey man... you still meeting me and my friend downtown tonight?" -CC
Andy sighed, covering his face for a moment. He pressed the reply button and texted CC back.
"Dude, I'm grounded.. My mom said I wasn't allowed out of the house tonight.." -AB
"What the hell did you do to get grounded?" - CC
"I did a few things... does it matter?" - AB
"Tell me..." - CC
"No..." - AB
"Please?..." -CC
"No!" -AB
"Pretty please?" - CC
"No! I said No! "
"Awe... come on.... If you don't tell me, then I'll tell everyone about the one time that you got trashed at Jinxx's party and dressed up like catwoman..." - CC
Andy covered his face and groaned as he read the last reply. "I'm going to kill him..." he mumbled to himself. He went back to the message and selected the reply button.
"My mom caught me with cigarettes and she found out how I'm doing in school." -AB
"Damn man... what time does she go to sleep? Maybe you can sneak out..." -CC
"Sneak out?" -AB
"Yeah... you know.. Pretend you're sleeping. Wait till she goes to bed, then just leave." -CC
"Do you really think I'm that stupid man? My mom would kill me if she found out that I snuck out after she grounded me." -AB
"Come on man... Don't tell me batman has turned into a wuss..." - CC
"No CC.. I can't sneak out.." -AB
"Pussy..." -CC
"I'm not a pussy!" -AB
"Yes you are, pussy." -CC
"Shut the fuck up, meet me at 10:30 downtown.." -AB
Andy huffed and slid his phone back into his pocket. He looked over at the alarm clock on his night stand. The green digital numbers reading 9:00.
"Just great.. She doesn't go to bed till 9:30 or 10..." he mumbled to himself.
    His stomach growled loudly, interrupting his sulking. He looked down at his stomach. "Oh shut up.. I just fed you when I got home..." he said.  His stomach growled again, as if it were back sassing him. He smiled and chuckled to himself. "Okay inner fat child... I guess you win this time..."
He got up off of his bed and walked to his door, opening it. The house was completely silent.. All the lights had been turned off. Curiously, Andy slowly made his way towards his mom's room. Peeking his head in the door, he saw his mother laying in her bed, curled up under the covers, sound asleep. He smirked to himself as he quickly and quietly made his way downstairs, grabbing his car keys off the hook.
    He quickly slid his black converse sneakers on and grabbed his jacket as he walked out the door, quickly making his way to his car. He looked around nervously, praying that his mother didn't hear anything.
As he got into his car and started it, he looked up to make sure that no one heard him.
He backed out of the drive, driving towards the highway. He cranked his radio up as he drove off.
His phone rang and he quickly picked it up. "Hey CC... I was able to sneak out a little earlier.." he said.
"That's great man... I'll meet you at Persephone's." CC replied.
"Okay.." Andy replied before hanging up.
