Chapter 4: They Scare Me

It's Saturday and I was at home on Skype with Monica and Derek.
    "So what do you guys want to do" I asked bored.
    "Let's hang out." Derek said.
Monica screamed scaring Derek and I." What's wrong? Are you ok?" I asked her worried that something bad probably happened.
    "We should have a sleep over." Monica said
    "Seriously? You scared us we thought you were hurt." Derek said "Anyways if we did have a hang out who's house would it be at?"
    "Not mine." I said.
    "You still have talked to your mom?"Monica asked me.
    "No."I replied. The was an awkward silence after.
    "Well it can't be at my have Megan might make accidentally make out with Derek." Monica said.
     "Ok well since my house is drama free we'll hang out at my place." Derek decided.
    "We'll be there in  20."Monica tells him
     When I finish getting ready in waiting for Monica to pick me up. I heard  the door bell ring thinking it's her I open the door. When I open it I'm surprised to see Logan

   "Can I come in?"He asked me.
  "No."
  "Why not."
  "What are you doing here?"
  "I wanna see Monica."
  "No, she doesn't want you anymore. She's with someone."
  "Who?"
   "Do you actually care? You cheated on her. You ruined a family. She hasn't talked to her sister for a year because of you. Why do you want to talk to her now?"
  He stood there not saying anything. I knew he just wanted to cause more problems. I looked down at my phone when I heard it ring.
  Monica❤️😘😘: I'm a block away. If your not outside in 5 minutes I'm leaving you.
   I replied with an "Okay mom". Then I remembered that Logan was still here.
  "You have to leave"
  "Why is Monica coming?"
  "Why do you care? She hates you."
   "I know, but I want to make her hate you too." I was so confused until he leaned forward and kissed me.

I froze I didn't know what to do. The sound of screeching tires woke me up. I pushed him away and slapped him.
  "What the hell"
  "Now she hates both of us"

Monica's POV
  It did bother me that Logan was kissing another girl but because the girl was Carter it hurt me. She knows why I hate him. I drove as fast as I could to Derek's house. When I got there I jumped out of my car and ran up to his door. I knock on his door and when he opened it I couldn't hold it in anymore. I started to cry.

  "What's wrong?"Derek asked me
  "I know you know about Logan. I just saw Carter kissing him."
  Carter POV
I kept trying to call her. I ran to Derek's house hoping that she's there. When I get there I see her car. I knock on the door.
   "What are you doing here?" Derek asked me.
  "Please let me talk to her. I didn't kiss him he kissed me. I froze and then she saw." I explained to him
   "Why didn't you push him away." Monica said coming outside.
   "I froze. I would never do that to you. You're my best friend. If it makes you feel better I slapped him." I explained to her.
  Out of nowhere she slapped me. 
  "What the hell. Why did you do that." I said in pain.
  "I forgive you,but I slapped you because you didn't push him away."
  "Am I forgiven?"
  "Yes you are forgiven."
  "We'll now that you guys solved this problem do you want to watch a movie?"Derek asked

   "What type of horror movie?" Monica asked.

   "It has clowns in it." Derek explained.

"They scare me"

"You're scared of clowns?"

Before I can answer Derek the door bell rang.

"I'll get it." Monica said 

While she opened Derek was making fun of me because I'm scared of clown.

"Go away." we hear Monica say.

 We both walk towards Monica and see her at the door with Logan. 

Out of no where Derek runs up to him and starts beating him up 

 I ran up to them trying to stop them. 

 "Guys. STOP." I could stop them. They kept punching each other and I could stop them. I got in between them trying to pull them apart, but instead I ended up getting punched. It was silent after that. I was so surprised.

"Are you ok?" Derek asked me.

"I think you should leave Logan."Monica said 

"I did not see that coming."
