i'm christy, aka:

-hopeless romantic (fun fact- i've never been in a relationship. but it's okay. platonic love counts just as much.)

there's much more, but honestly i can't even figure half of it out or explain it, but if you want to talk, message me anytime. :)

this book is basically just a spill of my mind and heart. life isn't easy-- in fact, i'm teary-eyed writing this-- and i feel like i can't breathe most of the time (which, i imagine, is how most people feel at some point.)
so i write it down. everything. the good and the bad. on a whim, i though i'd share it all with anyone who wants to take a look (on a boat, on a goat, on a... note to self: i am not dr. seuss).
maybe, hopefully, my little musings will help or inspire you, or even simply make you feel less alone, because you can't always be your own best friend. and feeling alone is the worst thing in the world. so i'm here to try to be your friend. if i'm qualified. we'll see.
life sucks for everyone. pain, sadness, and anxiety surround us, manifesting in different ways, and i know it hurts. i know that more often than not it feels like your heart is breaking and your lungs are failing and you want to puke. everything is falling apart and you're not sure how you can go on.

but you can.
i promise.

you can and you will go on and be strong and happy. that is the purpose of this collection-- i want to make our hearts feel lighter as much as i can. and i'm not sugarcoating anything. i write a lot about pain because it seems to be one of the main emotions in my life, (and that's not necessarily a bad thing) but i also have lots of hope and love and light and energy inside of me even on top of the darker parts.
so do you.
messy is good. messy is great. i am writing and thinking about that always. there are impossible questions yet to be answered, ideas to be explored, and insane feelings to be felt, and woven in through it all is beauty. you'll see. i'll see. we'll see together.

so yeah. i could write so much more, and i may, but you might be getting bored of this intro, and if i go on any further i'll just end up rambling about everything. you'll get the idea, probably.
