Sometime in the middle of the night I woke up to the surprised neighs of my herd. Lifting my head I scan the immediate area to see a dark figure nearing us.

As it comes to the herd I gallop over to meet it. Curiosity forcing my legs towards the figure. It was a Him.

When we meet, his eyes widen in surprise before he starts to speak.

"You're beautiful. " He breathes out, petting my mane with cool fingers. A gesture so delicate that I can't help but shiver in warmth.

I snort in surprise. I haven't been referred to as beautiful in over 100 years.

"It's a shame I have to do this, though. " He sighs sadly before opening his mouth and extending fangs from where his canines once were.

I stare at those pointy teeth and realize something. He's a vampire and has every intention of draining my blood. I didn't even know they were real but after being transformed by a witch I couldn't help but wonder if there were other supernatural beings.

Not having any other choice but to reveal myself, I let the once familiar tingles take over. I allow it to carry me into the air and transform me into who I originally was. A human girl.

I land gracefully on the grass(in the nude, but the breeze whooshing over my delicate skin wasn't as important as my life) and after having retrieved my original eyesight back, I look at his surprised face against the moon light.

His copper and gold eyes are widened and beautiful already gracing my body with his gaze, full lips are shaped into an 'o' shape. And suddenly long, delicate fingers cover his mouth as he lets out a gasp, brown tousled hair moved away by the gesture.

"You- you-" He gestures his index finger at my body as he tries to muster up words but comes up blank.

"You really don't expect me to sit idly by as you suck my blood do you?" I ask utterly enraged, my British accent seeking through my anger.

"But how?" He manages to spit out the sentence, eyes as wide as the moon that shines over our figures.

"Easy, a witch did this to me." I cross my arms angrily. "Should have never gone to New Orleans in the first place. " I mutter drily.

"A witch? They're real?!" He asks surprised.

Sighing I whistle for Remle. His galloping is coming closer and closer.

"You're real aren't you?" I tell him as Remle shows up. "Same rules apply. " I laugh at his bewildered face and climb onto Remle, giving him a view that would've made my mother burn me alive.

Realizing that I plan to leave, he speaks again.

"Wait, where are you going?" He asks confused. His concern seeps through his voice.

If only it was obvious.

"Away from you, I need my herd to be safe. " I tell him the last part with a stern glare.

"I'm not going to hurt you." He admits.

"Maybe, but I still need to go."

Before I can take off again he asks me something that would change my life.

"Can I come?"
