Without You

Chapter 3~ She will be fine

Brennan's POV:
D: Well Annie is in a coma, I'm very sorry
B: No No No No....NO she is not!
D: I'm sorry kid
The doctor walked away and I just dropped to the ground. I was scared...Scared that Annie will Leave me...Scared that she won't come back. I saw Caleb comforting Katie and Ryan comforting Hayley. Watching them made me even more sad because I didn't have anybody to comfort. I asked the doctor if I could go see Annie and they said Yes. Nobody knew I was going to see Annie. I walked into her room and saw her laying there, I burst into tears and walked over next to Annie.
B: Annie! Please don't leave me...I love you, you can't leave me! Please don't leave me
I was expecting Annie to wake up soon but she didn't. I gave her a soft gentle kiss on her forehead and walked out.
MJ: Brennan, Where were you?
B: I uh...was in the bathroom

MM: You sure?
B:YES!
I got really mad so I ran out of the building and ran to the hotel which wasn't that far away. I opened the door to the room and I accidentally dropped Annie's bag. I was trying to put everything away when I saw a small book that said "Diary" on the front. I tried flipping through pages but I couldn't do this. I came across one page that had a picture of me and Annie glued to a page. There was a short paragraph that was titled "My King" so I decided to read it:

Brennan is going to college in a few days and I'm really scared that he's going to meet someone and forget about me. Brennan is my King and I don't want him to leave me. Brennan leaves for College on Thursday and my first day of school is Friday. On Saturday We'll get to go visit him. I have millions of things planned for us to do.

I had tears all over my eyes and I decided to stop going through Annie's diary and laid in my bed. I was about to fall asleep when I got a call from Katie.

B: Yes?
K: Brennan COME QUICK!
B: Why what happened?
K: HURRY! Ugh never mind we don't need you Anymore.

Katie hung up on me and I decided to actually take a nap and forget about this for a little bit. I woke up a few hours later and everybody was back at the hotel.
B: What are you guys doing here?
MM: Well we decided to just rest for a bit.
B: What about Annie?

Mom and Dad exchanged worried glances.
MJ: Sweetie...You need to promise us that you will be strong....
Mom started crying and I was already expecting terrible news.
MM: Brennan...the doctor said that if Annie doesn't wake up in the next 2 days....they will have to...disconnect her...
B: No....No this can't be true! NOT ANNIE!
I started  crying and I found Caleb and Hayley crying. I felt really bad for them because Annie was their sister. But she was my girlfriend.
C: I guess you heard...
B: yes....I have....
H: I don't want to lose her....
B: None of us do Hayley
C: Guys let's just pray that she'll be fine.
I walked back into the room and I started crying. I miss Annie and I don't want to lose her. I laid in bed again and I just cried myself to sleep.

*Two Days later*
We all walked into the hospital and the doctor came a few minutes later.
D: So if Annie doesn't wake up in 1 hour we will disconnect her, sorry
B: No! Can I go see her?
D: Sure
I walked to Annie's room and she was just laying there and I walked next to her. I gave her a soft gentle kiss.
Annie's POV: I wanted to wake up to get back with my family and friends. But I couldn't, I didn't have the strength to do so. I could still hear everything going on and I heard Brennan coming into my room. I felt a kiss on my lips. I felt Brennan start to leave and I interlocked my fingers with his hand. I suddenly opened my eyes and saw Brennan standing there.
B: Annie! You're awake! Doctor!

The doctor came rushing in and checked my pulse.
D: Looks like she made it! Can you please go outside for a minute?
B: Sure
Brennan walked out and the Doctor started asking me questions.
D: Do you remember what your name is!
A: Yes, my name is Juliana Grace LeBlanc
D: Very good, do you know what state you live in?
A: Yes, I live in Maryland but right now I'm in California
D: Ok thanks for your cooperation ma'm
The doctors walked out and my parents arrived shortly along with Katie and her family.
MM: We're glad you're ok Kiddo
A: Thanks Mr. Mike
We all started talking when I saw Hayley and Ryan in a corner sitting down.
A: Are they ok?
MK: Hayley is just a little sad and depressed.
MJ: Ryan's just comforting her
A: Hayley?
Hayley turned to look at me and she ran up to me.
H: Annie! I missed you.... I didn't want to lose you
A: I'm ok thanks Hay
Just then the doctor came in.
D: Annie didn't suffer any severe damage, fortunately nothing is broken so she can go home soon but we're going to have her stay overnight. one of you is going to have to stay with her.
B: Can I?
D: How old are you?
B: I'm 18
D: Alright come with me and we'll sign a few papers.
Brennan walked out with the doctor while everybody started blabbering again.
K: That's crazy! Annie fell from the 12th floor and she suffered no damage
MM: Annie is one lucky girl
MB: Well Annie we're going to call it a day and go back to the hotel , Brennan will be here with you
A: Thanks for staying here with me guys
MJ: No Problem Annie
They all walked out and Brennan came in and sat next to me.
B: Babe I'm glad you're ok
He gave me a kiss on my forehead and he grabbed my hand.
B: Want to watch a movie?
A: Sure
We started watching a movie and we both fell asleep.

*The Next Morning*
I woke up and Brennan was on the chair on the other side of the room.
B: Morning!
A: Morning
Brennan came up to me and gave me a kiss.
B: The doctor came in and told us that we could leave anytime, I called our parents so they'll be here soon
A: Thanks Brennan.
B: No Problem
I went back to sleep and waited for my parents to get here. 20 minuted later our parents came.
MK: Hey Annie, how you feeling?
A: Ok
MB: We talked to the doctor and he said you can go home!
A: Really?
My parents nodded and handed me a change of clothes and I went to the bathroom and changed. I got out and we drove back to the hotel. Once we arrived we went to eat dinner.
MM: Ok So we decided to go back to Maryland tomorrow
K: What? Can't we stay longer?
MM: I'm afraid not sweetheart....But you Guys won't be going to school on Wednesday just for safety.
A: Well I guess that's better
I smirked and everyone started laughing. Once we finished Dinner I started packing.
B: Babe I'm glad you came to visit, it didn't turn out as expected but it means a lot to me
A: I'll come visit any time I can...
Brennan gave me a kiss.
B: Look School starts tomorrow and I have to be checked in on Campus before tomorrow Morning
A: Ok...Bye Brennan I was glad to see you again.... I'll miss you
B: I'll miss you too
I gave him a hug and he walked out the door with his stuff.
