A/N: Hows it going? I went to Kingsport, Tennessee and visited Broderik and my family for a while. I didn't see Kevin though, which made me sad. Anyways, that's why I haven't updated (Also, ya know... Writers block)! But lets get back to the book... Where did we leave off? Oh yes...

◊◊◊ Josh's POV ◊◊◊

I watched as Ryan wrenched a desert eagle from Cale's hands and turned, firing into the boy who was blown in half due to the explosion. What the hell is he doing? He didn't need to do that I thought. However I did chuckle inside as I heard Michael blow chunks. "What?! What did I do, huh?!" Ryan retorted. There was silence until Gabbie stepped forward. "You didn't have to do that! That, that kid was dying anyway." She turned to walk away but turned back on her heel. "I don't know what gives you the right to do that to someone. I think you just like it. You like the blood and the death. You like killing. You, Ryan, are a sick twisted and revolting person." She then turned on her heel and stormed off with Sarah, Michael, and Riley in tow.

Ryan looked mad. Not mad as in, "Oh! How could you? I hate you now!" He was mad as in, "I'm gonna gut you and set your bloody, dying body on fire and watch you burn!" Joe and Brian walked over, helping Cale and Tori up, Brian pulled out a first-aid kit and began applying various medicines and then applied gauze to their bullet-wounds. Joe looked back and scowled at Deborah and I, due to the fact that we caused it. The two thanks the marvelous medical duo and began to show them around, limping on their damaged legs. I felt a slight twinge of guilt.

Dyonna was the first to confront Ryan. To be honest I'd rather not mention the choice words she screamed at him... Or the beating that took place afterwards. She was mad. Deborah, Broderik, Britney, Jonathan, and myself went on to look around. I weaved around and came to a large concrete building labeled Armory. I quickly called Broderik and Jonathan over, seeing as Deborah and Britney were discussing something about military guys. With the help of Broderik and the not-so-help of Jonathan we managed to get the heavy metal door unlocked and opened.

As the contents of the armory revealed themselves I was stunned. The walls were lined with tons of military grade gear. From RPG's to hand grenades to assault rifles the armory had it all. I quickly raised my radio and spoke, "This is Wolf. We hit the fracking mother load of military grade gear. First come first serve so get 'yer arse down here and load up!" As I said that a walked in, grabbing an M4A1 with an ACOG scope, a silencer, a strap, and a laser sight. I also reached over and grabbed an M36 Grenade launcher and a crap ton of grenades, loading the explosives into a military pack, and slid a BC-41 Knuckleduster/knife into my satchel. The heavy load weighed me down but I had a handle on it.

As I walked out the rest of the group arrived. I saw Cale grin and state, "Welcome to my palace." Tori punched him on the arm and he corrected himself, "Our palace." I sat down next to Broderik. "So, what'd you loot, Broderik?" He turned at me and brandished a crossbow identical to Jonathan's. I nodded and turned back. "This is fracking amazing!" called Dyonna, admiring her new MP5K. Joe and Brian stood away from the armory due to the fact that they absolutely hate guns. Once everyone was loaded up we headed out, back towards the school bus. "Yay! A field trip!" called Tori.

There was a soft click and suddenly Cale's head erupted outwards, spattering over everyone who stood before him. As the, now headless, body slumped to the ground a loud cacophony of three round rang out. Tori fell to the ground with two rounds to the chest and one to the stomach. I'm sure she was dead before she hit the ground. "Run!" Screamed Riley. We ran, obviously. I looked back and saw a figure pointing somewhere. I immediately felt a thud across my back, and something pierced my skin, but only slightly.

Deborah, Dyonna, Jonathan, and myself slipped behind a Humvee as the others did the same, four people behind one Humvee. I looked over at the shooter. It was a raider wearing all black except for a white patch, with some kind of symbol on it, over his heart. "Uh, Josh. You have a purple knife sticking out of your bag." I looked back at Jonathan, who pulled out what looked like a purple ballistic knife with what looked like a Greek symbol (A/N: This is the symbol: ψprinted in white across the blade on both sides.  "That's it. This motherfracking bitch is going down." Dyonna claimed. She took aim through her AK-47's iron sights and unloaded a clip into where the raider was. However, he dove behind a wall. Effectively evading the deadly burst of gunfire.

The car next to us was almost immediately showered in a hail of lead. The screams of Michael, Sarah, Riley, and Gabbie rang out. I opened my bag just as the loud crack of a revolver rang out. I looked over and saw Ryan firing a black revolver into the raider group. To be honest, I'm suprised that we haven't seen any zombies lately. With all this noise you'd think they'd make an appearance. I open my bag and pull out some frag grenades. "Gabbie, catch." I tossed a couple over to Gabbie and she grabbed them, looked at me, "Give 'em out and throw them when I yell 'applesauce'."

Dyonna, in the midst of unloading her AK-47 into the men, burst into laughter. "Applesauce? What the frack?! That was so random." Deborah spoke, "Be more original than that, Bales. Instead of applesauce try 'ball-pit' or 'balls'." I kept down laughter and tossed a couple frags to Broderik and whispered/screamed the plan. He nodded and went back to firing and loading a new bolt, then firing and loading a new bolt, and so on. I unloaded my M4A1 and screamed, "Applesauce!"

At once, twelve frag grenades flew in the air, only to pepper the area where the men were located. BOOM! The ground shook slightly and our field of view was covered in dust and dirt. Slowly, debris rained down upon us. Whoops and hollers of joy sprouted among us. Suddenly the ground in front of the Humvee's erupted into a ball of light and the only thing you heard was ringing. Britney got up and began to run. As the ringing subsided I heard calls for Britney to stop from Broderik. Four cracks of a rifle rang out and Britney fell, with a bullet to the knee, stomach, chest, and shoulder. She sat there and bled out within four or five seconds.

These guys wont give up. Automatic gunfire erupted and the Humvee's were peppered with bullet holes. "Go! Now!" I looked over to Gabbie who had called out to us and began to fire into the remaining raiders. Michael, Jonathan, Ryan, Casey, and a sobbing Broderik didn't hesitate and ran. I watched them make it to the gates and into the bus. "Gabbie don't joke around like that!" Called Dyonna and Sarah in unison. "I said go! Now!" The Humvee that was previously occupied by Ryan, Broderik, Britney, and Casey erupted in a ball of flame.

"Shit!" I yelled. Dyonna, Deborah, Riley, Joe, Brian, and Myself ran. As we made it to the gate I looked back just as a man who was aiming an RPG at the gates and the bus fell dead, a victim to the fury of Sarah's trigger finger. More men slowly appeared. "There must be thirty or so men, I mean honestly they just keep coming" called Riley. Gabbie tossed a grenade just as the men began to advance. The explosion ripped through the pack of raiders, leaving no survivors. The Humvee's erupt into a supernova of metal, fire, and death. Screams of misery erupted from our group, I sat there, unable to speak at all. The explosion left no survivors. Only a crater.

A/N: I'm sorry this was way overdue, but don't rush me man! We finally got our militarized gear! But, my apologies go out to Gabbie and Sarah. Your deaths saved the rest of the group, and we thank you for your sacrifice. A lot of death in this chapter. I'll try to pull back on the action a bit and actually let my plot develop. ◊Vote◊Comment◊Follow◊ -Wulfy
