A/N: Alright guys! Whats up? So, I'm going to continue with Broderik's Point of View up until the explosion. So... Yeah. I'm gonna leave you in suspense about Josh's status. >:D MUAHAHAH!

We walked down the block, taking out zombies as we went. It turned out Kevin was loaded. He had 3 silenced Glock 18's, which were capable of going full auto, a backpack pouch full of fragmentation (frag) grenades and another pouch full of flashbangs! He was also armed with a U.S. Survival AR-7 [Google it, this thing is AMAZING!]. I was armed with one of the silenced Glock 18's right now, we wanted to be silent because Kevin had seen a group of raiders a couple days before we met up, like 3 hours ago. I held up a clenched fist, signaling a halt. I turned the corner and saw a large man around 24, 25 maybe. "Oi! Boys! Over here!" I felt my eyes widen and adrenaline begin to pump throughout my body.

I dove behind a car, Britney and Kevin following me. I looked up, "Shiz-nuggets. There are like six or seven guys over there... They're armed with hunting rifles-" I stopped and took another look. "-make that ten guys, three just came around the corner, one with an AK-47 and two with AR-15's!" Britney screamed as the car we were hiding behind was coated in bullet holes, glass falling onto our laps and in our hair. "Crap!" Exclaimed Kevin. He took the moment while they stopped so they could reload to pop up and spray them with his two Glock 18's. I looked up and grinned, seeing the two guys with AR-15's go down.

I heard three cracks of a hunting rifle and Kevin dropped the Glock in his left hand sunk down. I saw his hand was quickly coated in a dark red liquid and he groaned in pain. While Britney grabbed gauze and wrapped his hand wound I got up, armed with Britney's AR-15, and sprayed the men. I watched as four figures crumpled to the ground. I went to fire at a fifth and received a click from my gun, "Shiz." I dropped down, reloaded and gave Britney her gun back. We charged the remaining four men. I fired my M1 Garand into the head of one and dove for cover as Kevin tossed a frag. We received a BOOM.

I rose from my position and ran over, grabing ammunition and stuffing it in my satchel. I looked over to see Kevin brandishing an AK-47. He grins, "I can get used to this thing." He raised the wrapped hand, "However I can't get used to this." I heard gunfire erupt from my left and turned. Britney was spraying her AR-15 into a huge horde of undead. I grabbed and AR-15 from one of the dead bodies, slung my M1 Garand, and fired into the horde as well. I looked over to see Kevin looting the bodies of the raiders. I quickly reloaded and looked over, spotting the raiders' Hummer. I thought to myself, Holy crap, as I saw they had hooked up an M249 Light machine gun, along with a chair, in front of the top window! "Kev! Britney! Follow me!" I ran to the Hummer. "Kev! Take the gun!" I received a, "With pleasure." from him and slipped in, grinning because they left the keys in the car. I turn the key and the engine roars to life.

I grin, spinning the wheel and stomping on the gas. I hear Kevin whoop and holler from above me as we sped towards the horde, I slammed into it, crushing multiple zombies and flinging others away. My eyes widened as I saw a little girl. She was undead but a girl all the same. I felt my heart skip a beat as the car rammed into her, demolishing the body and sending blood and gore splattering onto the windshield and Kevin's front plate, guarding him from the front. I slammed on the breaks and we slid, Kevin slid down to sit next to Britney quickly as we realized, we were going to side down the fucking hill. I shielded my face and prayed for once, I'm not very religious but at this moment I'll try. "Holy crap! We're gonna freaking die!" I heard Kevin yell. Britney just screamed and I sat there. A macho looking fifteen-year-old curled up in the front seat and we slid off.

I felt weightless, like nothing could touch me, seeming to fall in slow-motion. All I heard were the screams of Britney, Kevin, and some other guy. I soon realized that guy was me. I was screaming my head off. But I felt a sense of peace, as if I could forget everything that's happened in this hellhole. I grinned knowing I'd spend what seemed like my last moments with the girl I love and one of my best friends. And then, we slammed into the cliff face. I felt my head slam into something, and everything went black.

I woke to muffled yelling and the ringing of a bell. I opened my eyes and looked up, seeing a girl. She had a cut across her forehead and dark brown almost brown hair hanging over her shoulder. I looked at her and then saw a boy, he looked like he was from Peru. He had black hair, a leather jacket and two pistols with some kind of rifle strapped to his back. I realized the ringing was in my head and it stopped. I finally understood Alex's pleas for me to respond and I blinked. "Britney?" I realized she was crying and sat up, and pulled her into a brief kiss. "Uh, hello? Third wheel right here." I looked up and grinned at Kevin.

I held out a hand and he pulled me up. I realized he had a peice of metal in his side. "Kev. Your side." He looked confused and then looked down. I heard Britney gasp softly and Kevin's face went pale. "Holy crap." I helped ease him down and looked over. The car was a ball of flames. I looked down and my clothes were charred but I felt no burns, only the adrenaline filling my veins as I gave Kevin an injection of morphine he raided from a hospital a while back. "Kevin, it'll be fine. Your going to be okay. I swear." He nodded and I gave him a bullet 'cause it seemed the morphine hadn't taken affect yet. He bit down and I began to take the metal out.

His muffled screams had caused Britney to tear up and myself to almost tear up. I heard Britney be sick for a while, until her stomach was empty. I yearned to do the same but I had to focus. I finished wrapping him up and I bleached the bloodstain that had formed on the ground and we walked. We found a gas station and saw the McDonald's we were to meet at. It seemed they were there, Dyonna's tricked out school bus sitting in the parking lot. I took Kevin to the gas station and Britney went in to grab some food. I looked up and was terrified with what I saw.

The horde had kept up with us. I looked at Kevin and he pulled his AK-47 out. "Broderik, go. Now." I was confused and then realized what he meant. "Kev. No." He looked me in the eyes, I looked away. "Broderik. Now. I can't do any good. You know how much blood I lost. I can barely breathe, thanks to my punctured left lung." I felt tears streak my cheeks and I tried to say no. I did, but couldn't find the words. So I grabbed the bag and ran into the store, grabbing Britney's hand. "Wait. What about Kevin? Oh god, don't tell me we're-" I nodded slowly, and choked back a sob, I flung open the back door and saw that the horde was running across the street. Towards Kevin, towards my friend. But we ran, from the screams of Kevin trying to sound like Rambo. And then BOOM.
