*M/N's POV*

The school day passes without any more events, thank God. Though it's been as boring as Hell. Seriously, I've done surveillance for Chase that was cooler than this.

Surveillance? It's when I watch over Chase or whoever while they're doing the fun stuff (You know, the actual assassination). It's so boring!

When the final bell rings, I don't even wait. I'm sprinting out of that door with the rest of the class. Chase will kill me if I keep him waiting.

That is, if he's actually there.

"M/N!"

Are. You. Kidding. Me?!

"M/N, hi!" The deputy headmistress runs up, smiling like a damn streetlight, "I just wanted to see how your first day at school went!"

I manage to stop myself from cursing loudly and instead smile back at her.

"It was great, thanks."

Her smile widens. God, her teeth are way too big for her mouth.

"I'm glad you like it here at Heartland Academy," By this point, the corridors are practically empty. Chase is going to murder me, "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Yeah, bye." And I run off, hoping I don't get pulled aside or something for running in the corridor.

I take one step outside and -

BAM

- You guessed it.

"Goddammit..." I am not happy, "Who the Hell did I run into this time?"

"Aw, shit. It's you."

I know that voice. Dammit, I know that voice.

"Hey."

We stand up, and glare at each other again. That blue-eyed boy with the weird hair. Him.

"What the Hell is wrong with you?" He snaps, "This is the second time you've hit me. Watch where you're going, dumbass."

"Who are you calling a dumbass?!" I can see Chase leaning against his motorcycle out of the corner of my eye, but I really couldn't care less at the moment. This guy's pissed me off.

"You, dumbass." He smirks and leans in, until we're practically nose-to-nose. Not a good position.

"Hey, Shark!"

We pull away from each other at lightning speed. That kid again...What was his name? Yuma? Yeah, it was definitely Yuma.

"Shark, have you met the new guy?" Yuma runs up to us.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." The boy - Shark - turns away from me and Yuma, sticking his nose in the air like he's some kind of goddamn prince or something.

"Huh..." Yuma's looking at us strangely. Oh God, did he see..? "Um, M/N, some guy looks like he's waiting for you."

"Oh, crap! Chase! He's going to kill me!" I grab my head, fearing for my brain after Chase is done with me. I hope he'll at least let me on the mission. I wouldn't be able to stand another week in solitary confinement because I've pissed him off.

Well, I only ended up in solitary confinement because I really pissed him off, and that was years ago...

"Ugh, damn it! Well, bye, Yuma!" I wave, and Yuma cheerfully waves back. Guy must take serious happy pills or something to be that full of energy all the time, "And goodbye to you too, Sharkuku~"

"Hey, I-What?!" I laugh at the slight blush on his face. Paired with the confused expression on his face, he looks kinda cute.

Wait, what?

I ignore my weird thoughts and run up to Chase. He glares at me, obviously furious, and throws me my red helmet.

"You are so lucky you have a mission tonight."

I internally cheer. That means he won't ground me!

"...But, you have no more missions for the rest of the week, so..."

Oh, shit.

"You're grounded for making me wait."

"Chase!"

I hate my brother sometimes.
