'OMG JAMES JUST ASKED ME OUT!!! WHAT DO I SAY!?' i think to myself as the guy i've had a crush on for years is waiting for me to answer him after HE asked ME out. "sure" i say with a smile trying not to show him how happy i am inside. it's now literacy so i go inside my homeroom. brooklyn and i's homeroom teacher lets us read on our phones so what brooklyn and i do is turn our ringers and vibrate off on our phones and text each other

"can we get food?" brooklyn asked me. "yes PULEASE" i respond. after getting food, brooklyn and i go down to my room and play the sims 4. "so... what's the big news?!" brooklyn asked me anxiously. "okay prepare yourself for getting too excited and dying" i tell her "alright!" she says even more anxious than before. "james asked me out" i say with a smile. "WHAT ARE YOU JOKING!??!?YAY IM SO PROUD OF YOU?!!?!!" she basically yells. luckily we're home alone so no one heard. we then both start yelling and freaking out. "OMG YOU TWO ARE GOING TO LIKE BE A HAPPILY MARRIED COUPLE AND YOU'LL LIVE BESIDE ME AND TROYE ITS GOING TO BE SO FUN (brooklyn is very much obsessed with troye sivan and has somehow convinced herself that they'll get married). "YAAAA" i respond.
the next day at school is pretty much a normal day. There's the usual math in the morning then english then french and finally, it's lunch. i'm excited to see james but also nervous because i don't know if james wants people to know or if people already know. "hey guys!" i say as brooklyn and i walk out into the hall and see James, Ian, and declan. "umm james, can i talk to you?" "sure" he says. "okay so i've been meaning to ask, do you want people to know about us or should we keep this a secret?" "welllll i kind of already told ian and i'm guessing you told brooklyn.... we can tell declan?" "okay" i say with a smile.
