Chapter 1 order up

Lucy's p.o.v.....

I stretched as I entered the guild hall. It was a sticky hot day and the heat keeps climing. Which is why I decided to visit the guilds bar for one of Mira's amazing milkshakes. That will surely cool me down and after I can ask Natsu to pick a job for us. As I took my favorite seat at the bar I waited for Mira to come over. "Why hello lucy. Is there something I can get you?" Mira asked sweetly.

"Yeah how about one of them yummy milkshakes to beat the heat?" I asked as my tummy rummbled making us both giggle.

"How about a special cooling potion instead? That should cool you off better and fill your tummy." Mira said with a smile.

"Really I didn't know you carried potions like that. Sure I'll take one how much for-"

"It's on the house!" Mira cut me off before I could finish. I looked at her confused with her strange behavior, but Mira seemed just fine as I stared into her blue eyes and kind smile. Must be a trick of the heat, but I could have sworn there was a evil glint in her innocent eyes. Hesitantly I took the orangish liquid she offered me and gulped it down all dout forgotten. I made a sour face and felt a tingling sensation in my tummy as the liquid settled. Mira gave me a concerned look and handed me a glass of water which I gladly accepted and gluped down. Then everything went dark.

Mira's p.o.v...

I saw Lucy make a sour face and got a little worried. Master said I should get rid of the weird mixture of old potions. But I couldn't help myself I just had to see what it would do. Plush Lucy is so trusting and was a piece of cake to fool. No one else would have drinken it for me. However seeing Lucy look so sick is starting to make me regret my curiosity. I got a glass of water and handed it to her which she eagerly guzzled down. I turned around to go find Master and jumped startled when I heard glass shatter.

Natsu's p.o.v....

Happy and I entered the guild and saw Lucy in her usual spot at the bar. So I made my way over to her as Happy flew off to give Carla his fish. As I sat down beside Lucy I noticed Mira cleaning up some broken glass. "Hey Mira after your done can you make me something to eat I'm starving?"

" Sure I'll be right with you Natsu." Mira said as she disappeared into the back with the broken glass.

I looked over at Lucy who had her head down and asked "Hey Lucy how about we go on a job after I grab a bite to eat. Your rents almost due isn't it?" she kept her head down and gave no sign that she even heard me."Hey Luce,Luuuuce,LUCY YOU IN THERE!!!" I yelled the last part next to her ear. She giggled and looked up at me with distant eyes. "Hey luce are you feeling ok?"

"Shes fine Natsu. Lucy is just weird" Happy chimed in. Lucy looked at Happy and he srunk away in fear of receiving a Lucy kick. "I'm sorry Lucy I didn't mean anything by it" Happy quickly added. Lucy smiled ear to ear and reached for Happy while he shook in fear. He closed his eyes and waited to be strangled.

"What a goooood blue kitty. Your so nice and soft" Lucy cooed as she roughly petted his head. Me and Happy sweat dropped while Mira held a hand over her mouth to stop from laughing. Lucy then picked Happy up and embraced him in a bear hug. "Your just the sweetest kitty witty ever!"Lucy yelled in Happy's ear.

"Natsu help me Lucy is being super weird" Happy pleaded.Lucy then looked up and noticed me staring at her and gave that weird smile again. "Natsu your here I've been so bored without you! How about we go on a job you hotty?" Lucy asked with a big grin. Mira gasped in shock and my jaw droped to the floor. Did Lucy my Luce just call me hot?

"What was that last bit Lucy?" I asked in shock. She wobbled toward me and giggled

"I said lets go on a job you sexy dragon you." Mira nosed bleed and passed out on the floor. I felt like I was dreaming Lucy my best friend and teamate thinks I'm attractive.Mira got up off the floor and turned to Lucy with a big smile.

"Ok well I think I know what the mixture of old potions does now." Mira said with a innocent giggle.

"What do you mean by that Mira?Did you do this to lucy?"

"Well I may have given her a mixture of expired potions. I was told by Master to get rid of them."Mira said apologetically.

"But you gave it to Lucy and now shes weirder than normal." Happy stated.

"Pretty much I didn't mean her any harm I just really wanted to see what the potion would do. Luckily it appears to only put the user in a drunken like state and forces them to tell others what there thinking."Well at least that seems to be the worst of the side affects Mira said. "Actually the potion could come in handy on-" I cut Mira off with a evil laugh. They both looked at me worried.

"Natsu are you ok?" Happy asked worried.

"Yeah I'm fine Happy don't worry about it. Hey Mira so if I ask lucy anything right now she'll have to tell me the truth?" I asked her.

She looked at me for a moment and then said "Until the potion wears off yes. She'll tell you anything you want. Thats why I was saying it coud come in handy on-" Mira stoped talking as she saw the evil fanged grin appear across my face.

"Excellent" I wispered under my breath as I made my way over to Lucy who was hugging a shocked Levy.

I could hear Happy tell Mira "Uh oh Natsus got a creepy look on his face."

"Um you should just give him some space for a while. Why don't you spend the night with Wendy and Carla for tonight." Mira told Happy in a comforting voice. This only made my grin wider.I made it to lucy and taped on her shoulder to get her attention. On seeing me she released Levy from her bear hug and wraped her arms around my waist.I put my arms around her shoulders as she snuggled her head into my chest.

"How about we go somewhere more private Lucy?" She looked up at me with innocent brown dow eyes and smiled at me.

"Sure anything for my sexy slayer!" Lucy yelled out loud causing the guild member's jaws to drop. I picked Lucy up bridal style and ran with her out of the guild as she yelled "Weeeeeeee!!!!!"
