Exiting the ruins you were greeted with snow. You see a snow covered bush looking and seeing a camera hidden in the bushes. You walk down the path. You walk seeing a stick, stepping over a stick. As you keep walking. You turn back once you heard it snap.
You keep walking until you read a gate, hearing footsteps.
"Human. Don't you know how to greet a new friend? Turn around and shake my hand." You shook his hand and it let out a fart?
"Heheh... the old whoopee in the hand trick. It's mostly funny. Anyways, you're human, right? That's great. I'm Sean. Sean the skeleton. I'm actually supposed to be on the lookout for humans actually, but I don't really care about capturing anyone. Now my dad, he's a human-hunting fanatic! Actually, I think that's him over there. I have an idea, go through this gate thingy. My dad made the bars to wide to stop anything."
Walking over with Sean, he says quickly, "Hide behind the conveniently-shaped lamp."
"Hey, dad. What's up?"
"You know what's up, son! It's been days and you still haven't attempted to even change your puzzles! You just hang around all day. What are you even doing?"
"Staring at this lamp. It's cool, want to look?"
"No! I do not have the time to that. What if a human comes? I want to be prepared! I must and will be the one! I will capture a human! Then, I, will get everything I deserve! Respect, Recognition, and a spot on the royal guard. People will ask to be friends! I will shower in kisses every day."
"Hmm... Could this lamp help you?"
"Sean! You lazybones, are not helping! All you do is do nothing! You get lazier every day!"
"Hey. Relax. I've gotten a ton on stuff done today. A skele-ton."
"Sean!"
"Come on, you know you're smiling."
"I do and I hate it!" He sighs, "Why does someone like me have to do so much for some recognition."
"Sounds like you're working yourself down to the bone."
"Ugh! I will attend my puzzles. As for your work, put a little more backbone into it!" He says laughing before leaving, them coming back then leaving again.
"Ok. You can come out now." Sean says and you move.
You keep moving and before you can leave, Sean stops you and says, "Actually, can you do me a favor? My dad's been kind of down recently. He's never seen a human before and maybe seeing you might just make his day. Don't worry. He isn't dangerous, even if he tries to act like it."
You nod.
"Thanks. I'll be up ahead." He says, going the other way.
Once you leave, you see the sparkling thing, again.
The convenience of that lamp still fills you determination.
You see a box, but decide to go up. You're greeted by a fishing pole affixed to the ground. You reel it in and all that's attached is a photo of a blue fish with yellowish orange fins.
Call me!
Here's my number!
You decide not to call. Going back you read the sign next to the box.
This is a box. You can put an item inside or take an item out. The same box will appear later, so don't worry about coming back. – Sincerely, Xander, a box lover.
