Ava first appretice

Ava went out of her den she heard giggling
Ava: Merla,Frieda is that you? * Frieda and Merla comes out of shrubs *
Frieda: how did you know it was us?
Young Merla: can you see the future!
Ava: well no but I did heard you
Young Merla: we were just taking a peak at the apprentice den that's all.
Ava: soon you be apprentice.
Young Merla: I'm going to be the best warrior apprentice ever!
Young Frieda: I'm actually thinking about being a medicine cheetah.
Ava twitch her whiskers and tail and said: really?
Young Frieda: I don't really like to see battles that much.
Young Merla: well I bet you be alright doing herbs and all that.
Young Frieda : yup I'll be the best medicine cheetah ever.
Young Merla smiled at her sister then she touched her and said: tag your it!
Young Merla and Frieda ran playing tag
Neon yawned and stretch his back.
Ava: sleep well.
Neon: hmm it was alright but I think I still need a little more then sun rise duty.
Ava rolls her eyes.
Ava saw mumba and jay watching their Cubs while they gave each other a bath also.
Ava: I'm going to see Khey ok.

Ava left waving her tail goodbye then going to Khey and Bibi den.
Ava: hello.

Ava went inside seeing Khey and Bibi giving each other a bath.
Khey: so Ava what do you want to talk about?
Ava: well I'm just wondering if you can give me rule tips about apprenticeships.
Khey smiled then said: alright make yourself home and sit down.
Bibi: I'll get fresh kill.

Khey: now apprenticeship can be tricky you got to find one cheetah or lion that has a high ranking and it can not be the queen of the Cubs.and who will be apprenticing today?
Ava: jay and mumba Cubs, Merla and her sister,Frieda.
Khey: and did you pick a she-cheetah or anyone?
Ava: well Frieda wants to be medicine cheetah apprentice but Merla wants to be warrior apprentice
Khey: we I think that's good for Chaco he is a grumpy cheetah but he does have a heart
Ava: and Merla
Khey: if I was younger I could be the mentor but we only have couple of queens enculdeing Wenda and mumba can't be back to warrior duty after her Cubs are already have a apprentice that exspealiy the Cubs father, jay have to be with a different apprentice and Drago and Nia and Bibi to old to be mentors now so now it's just only one thing to do
Ava: what?
Khey: you have to be Merla's new mentor
Ava was shocked she never had a apprentice or mentor a apprentice
Ava: but I never...
Khey: so if you have or have not been able to have a apprentice isn't mean you can't have one today
Ava: but what if I'm not a good mentor or...

Khey: step 1. Apprentices need to clean the elders moss. Step two. Train to be a best hunter for fresh kill and only they bring them to the elders or the queens that already or having Cubs

Bibi came back with a two small mice she put it next to Khey and one next to her

Bibi licks his cheek and smiled
Ava: you two are like Nia and Drago like two love birds

Ava: well Merla wants to be a warrior apprentice and Frieda wants to be a medicine cheetah apprentice
Bibi: so your having trouble with finding a mentor with Merla
Ava: nodded

Ava left Bibi and Khey happily eating their mice and went to the medicine den

Ava: hi Neon
Neon: what the matter
Ava: I just stumped

Ava: who should be Merla mentor
Neon: well that the easy answer
Ava: really who
Neon: easy it's you
Ava : so you are number three of the one that thinks I should be Merla mentor
Neon: well duh
Ava: what if the other cheetahs think I'm not that good or...
Neon: you'll be fineI promise
Ava sighed then nodded

Ava looks at the new apprentices
Neon was at her side smiling
Mumba was at the nursery licking Merla and Frieda then jay walks over to take them to the clearing
Ava saw Chaco he was a nearly a wheezing fit and he coughed once but he jumps up next to Ava right side

Ava saw Frieda and Merla talking a little bit then when they saw Ava look at them they stop
Ava: Frieda would you like to come up
Frieda nodded nervously then she got up then sat down nearly to the highledge
Ava: so Frieda would you like to be a medicine cheetah apprentice
Frieda: yes
Ava looks at Chaco then said: what do you think Chaco would you like to have a apprentice
Chaco raised his head he looks at Frieda then said: yes I'm alright to have a apprentice in my den
Frieda smiled happily
Ava: well then Frieda you are now medicine cheetah apprentice my the great kings and queens light your path
Frieda bowed
Chaco went to his apprentice he touched noses with her and she did to the same
Ava: Merla
Merla went up to Ava nearby the highledge then sat down
Ava was about to speak but Merla said: I have one question my I say please
Every cheetah was looking at each other and mummered to each other
Jay and Len look at each other then at their mates
Mumba and Wenda shrugs
Ava: I'll allow
Merla: if you pick someone else in the group I understand but...
Ava: but what?
Merla: I want you to be my mentor
Every cheetah was in a little confused and shock
Ava: and why that
Merla: it's because I like to be trained bye someone new and I promise I'll be the best apprentice you ever had
Ava looks at young Merla eyes seeing only hope and pray for her to be her mentor she smiled at Merla
Ava: very well Merla for now on I'll be your mentor
Merla smiled at Ava then bowed
Ava went down to Merla and she and her touched noses with each other
Every cheetah cheered and smiled
Afterwords
Ava: you can go to the apprentice den if you like tomorrow I'll show you the outside world
Merla smiled and nodded she went off to the apprentice den
Ava saw Chaco and Frieda heading to the medicine den Ava thought she saw a small smile in Chaco face
Ava went to her and Neon den she saw Neon smiling at her she nuzzled him then licks his cheek and the they both went to bed
