Just the begging

Ashley's POV

         We had to prepare for the duo state wide championship in two weeks, and since I was the best member on the team aside from Connor I got picked to be his partner. Normally I would be fine with it, but I developed these feelings for him ever since a few weeks ago. So whenever we are along it's really awkward. Wendell's parents recently hit the lottery so they treated us out to 10,000 dollars in gaming supplies and a flat screen for Connors house! 

It was Thursday and I was on my way to Connors house and he met me at the door. "Hey, Ashley you ready for the state wide championship in two weeks?" Connor asked me pulling me in for a hug. I blushed so red I could have sworn I was Rudolf the red nosed reindeer. "You bet now let's give it a solid three hour practice. 

About an hour in Connor got to the teaching part of our session. "So this is how you can get an easy kill in Battle Frontiers 2." Connor said as he moved my character toward a common camping spot for many players. He put his hands over the controller and mine. I blushed and so did he. "I'm sorry I thought... I didn't mean to put my hands there." And to be honest it was totally fine with me. I paused the game. I looked straight into Connors eyes as he did to mine. 

I knew if any this was the right time to admit my feelings for him. "Connor, I like you and I'm not nervous to say it, I want you to be mine." I say looking at him in the eyes. I took his face and kissed him right on the lips. He started to kiss back. I finally had that iconic moment with Connor, it was like winning a competition that was close. It was for or less indescribably amazing. I let go of his face after the long kiss. "Ashley i like you too, and I'm glad we got that across." Connor said shutting the console off.
