Sienna | Eric | Sienna's brother (Leo)
"SO you're the dumbass."
Eric flinched at the obviously judgmental words and Sienna's hold on his hand tightened, as if giving him strength.
The dark-haired man crossed his arms with a scowl as he noticed the couple's hand movement.
"You! Hands off my sister!"
Instantly Eric's grip flew off Sienna's hand and she giggled in response. She took a few steps forwards and took her brother's hand, bringing him forward to meet Eric.
Eric, this is my brother, Leo.
Leo, this is Eric.
Leo nodded to Sienna in response, before returning his lightning gaze to Eric as if analysing his body features and calculating his worth.
Eric's muscles strained at this but calmed when he met eye with Sienna and watched her confident nod.
With a last glance, Leo turned away.
"Si, go to the back and greet the other employees."
Sienna nodded with a smile, making her way to the back of the shop and stranding Eric alone with Leo.
The brown head's gaze shifted to the stout man, the man he would like to call his future brother-in-law. In return, Leo's gaze met his.
"Follow me."
Obediently, Eric followed the dark-haired man to the back aisles of the nutritional shop.
---
"Supplements, Vitamins, pills and powders can all be found in this section."
Eric observed as Leo led him around the shop.
"Oh. Wow."
He tried to act interested but he was more curious as to why Leo wanted to show him this. Truthfully, he was studying to become a pharmacist, but he was sure he had never told Sienna nor Leo that.
"Sienna likes honey, so get her the honey-flavoured ones."
"What?"
"I said honey."
"Wait... Sienna?!"
"Yes Sienna, dumbass."
"But... what? Sienna? Why? How?"
"She didn't tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
"I guess you don't know her as well as I thought you did."
"I-"
"She told me everything... right?"
"Well, it seems not. I trust Sienna's decision and if she hasn't said anything then I won't either."
"Sienna..."
Eric's brain worked at the speed of lightning, calculating all the various possibilities that could be wrong with Sienna.
In truth it had already come up with an explanation, but Eric would not believe it.
He did not want to.
"She's not suffering from anything else besides being mute, right?"
"I won't say."
"Bu-"
"Sienna... she trusts you. She'll tell you eventually."
Leo beckoned Eric to follow as he took his leave, but Eric could only stand there speechless and mouth agape. His line of sight moved back to the numerous pills that lined the shelves of the shop.
Supplement pills. Protein powders. Appetite induced pills.
"Eric, come."
Eric turned back to the impatient black-haired man. His mouth closed.
And again as much as he was proclaimed a genius, he would like to say that he couldn't understand what this meant.
But no. He did.
In the way Sienna acted and the way she dressed, it only proved the spontaneous theories that roamed his head.
Sienna... was she anorexic?
