Chapter 1

Welcome to my Zerrie fanfic! I don't know exactly what happened between these two lovely people so this fanfic consists mostly of things I made up myself. I hope you enjoy it! x

He cleared his throat then started to speak up, "Perrie, love?" He's really nervous, I can tell. But why? "Yes, Zayn?" I looked at him, trying to give him signals to not be so nervous. "We've been together for about 2 years now, yeh? I love you so so much and I do want to spend the rest of my life with you." He let go of my hands and reached into his pocket. I know what he's doing now. I instantly covered my mouth with one hand, trying to hold back tears. That's when he pulled out a little black box and got down on one knee. The tears escaped my eyes as I looked down at him. He opened the box, revealing the most beautiful ring, "Perrie... Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"

Let me introduce myself. If you didn't know already, which I'm sure you did, I'm Perrie Edwards. Yes, that's correct. I'm in Little mix! If you haven't heard of us, feel free to look us up. You won't be disappointed! I auditioned for X-Factor back in 2011 and fortunately for me, I made it! A little bit later, I was put in a group with 3 other amazing girls who I love so much. We've now released our 2nd album called 'Salute'. The fans seem to love it, which is great! My life has been so amazing these past 2 years with meeting fans, performing for various TV talk shows and festivals, and having our own tour! We wouldn't be where we are today without you guys, the fans! We love you all so much! Ok now, let's start from when Zayn and I met.

Jesy, Jade, Leigh-Anne, and I are in our dressing room getting ready for our performance, which I'm really excited for. There's still two performances ahead of us so we've got plenty of time. I'm the last one to sit down in the chair for make-up. Jesy is sitting to the side watching, "I've got a good feeling about this performance." The make-up artists starts on my make-up, "I do, too. I mean, I always have a good feeling about each of our performances but this one is different."

Tonight we are singing 'Don't Let Go' if you'd like to know. Hopefully everyone likes it.

After a few minutes, my make-up is done. I look in the mirror and smile, satisfied with how she did my make-up, it's pretty. We're all dressed and ready to go. "Girls, come on. You need to start heading towards the stage." One of the staff comes in, keeping the door open, waiting for us to walk out. "Alright! We're comin" Jade looks at herself one last time in the mirror before we all exit the room. As we start walking towards the stage, all four of us at once start doing vocal exercises to warm up.

The faint sound of the crowd is now getting louder and louder with each step, causing butterflies in my stomach to go mad.

As we get backstage, I take a deep breath trying to calm myself down. I am quite nervous at the moment. I practice my part over and over again, making sure I don't mess up. "Here are your microphones, girls." Someone hands us our microphones one by one. All of us girls look at each other before going into a group hug, "Let's have a great performance. I love you girls." Leigh-Anne smiles and looks at us. I nod my head, "We love you, too" We pull away as someone tells us it's our turn to perform. We hold each others hand as we take our spots behind the wall thing. The music starts playing, the wall thingy opens up, the crowd starts screaming, and we make our way to our microphone stands.
