You're Peculiar (Enoch O'connor X Reader)

Chapter 4

Y/N's Pov 

I lied about what I said to Enoch that I was sick the truth is i'm not really in the mood for another movie time.

 I went straight to my room. I quickly jumped in my bed, carefully lie down and started to close my eyes to rest. 

 A moment later I heard a strange creaky sound coming from the door, it opened and good thing it was just miss Peregrine. "Why got to bed early?" She kindly asked as miss Peregrine went near to me and sat at my bed. 

 I alertly stood up and respectfully answered her. "I was just..." I didn't finished my sentence because I can't clearly think what to say to her as an excuse. 

 "Yes Y/N I feel the same with you too, i'm also getting bored of watching Horace's dream again and again" she joked. 

 I giggled a bit, miss Peregrine really knows whats going in my head and then she patted my shoulder. 

 "Don't worry, someday your gonna realize that you are peculiar. Don't be out of place when you are around them because you are one of them" she meaningfully advised me. 

I didn't got a single word coming from my mouth as a response she instantly left. "Good night Y/N" I heard her spoke to me while slowly closing the door. 

-Morning- 

The sunlight coming from the window struck into my eyes and immediately woke me up. Then I got off from my bed, took the thick warm blanket that was covering me and also took a peek at the window. 

At the view of my window I can see the back yard the children were playing with a soccer ball and both of the twins played at the seesaw. 

But something took my attention, I saw Enoch helping Emma bring the falling baby squirrel back to the tree as he held the rope tightly. 

How can he look so perfect when he is just doing nothing besides of standing there. Few seconds later, Enoch suddenly peeked at my window, I have to quickly look at the other direction for him not to notice that i was staring at him. 

After that I decided to go down stairs for breakfast because I always wake up late and they didn't bother waking me up every morning.  

Its been a while since I haven't updated yet, I was about to publish two more chapters but I accidentally deleted it so I have to start over again. My bad :(   Thanks for reading!!!
