First Meeting

My phone let out a shrill ringing sound to let me know I had a new Twitter notification, I picked up my phone to check what it was, it was a DM from Calvin.

I felt my heart flutter with joy and anticipation as I clicked on the notification and opened the DM.

I read out what it said and shock took over my features, "Hey, want to meet up for coffee later?", we had recently found out that we both lived in Seattle, I typed back nervously, my hands shaking, "Yeah, Sure" and pressed send

I jumped off my bed and ran to my closet picking out a f/c floral dress and f/c heeled shoes, Leafy had DMed me back "Let's meet up at 7:00pm today?", "Cool" I replied, trying to act chill.

I was very exited, but than I sat down and thought to myself, why was I so exited to meet a 'friend' in public, could I possibly feel anything more for him?

I brushed away that thought as soon as possible, I walked over to my PS4 and started playing f/v/g (Favorite Video Game), I lost track of time and when I finally glanced up at the clock, it was 6:00 already.

I sprinted into the bathroom and took a shower and slipped my clothes on.

I left my h/c loose and took in a deep breath, and I finally left the house to head to Starbucks where Calvin told me we would be meeting.

After a 15 minute walk I finally reached there, I glanced around looking for Calvin, my e/c sweeping over the hoards of people, I finally spotted a familiar SnapBack and messy brown hair.

I sped over to the booth Calvin was in, I looked up and my eyes met with his chocolate brown eyes, a grin spreading across his face and his eyes sparkling.

"Hey" he said enthusiastically, I was equally excited, I replied back with the same amount of enthusiasm "it's so good to finally meet you!".

He got up from his chair and pulled me into a hug, I stiffened at first but then slowly relaxed into his warm embrace, wrapping his arms around my neck.

We both eventually separated, and we took seats at our respective seats.

I wondered if this was going to go well or not...
