After my realization that Destiny had been right about the video diaries, I fell asleep on my bed, still in my dress.
The next morning, I woke up and looked at the clock.
9:58 a.m.
I yawned and got up, grabbed some clothes, then headed to the shower. I turned the water on and got in. I sighed when I saw I was out of shampoo. I got out and wrapped a towel around me, then walked downstairs, leaving the water on.
I saw Dylan by the front door and he looked over at me, "Hi."
"Hi, why is it you're always here when I get out of the shower, wrapped in a towel?"
He shrugged, "Luck, I guess."
"Why are you here, anyways?"
He smiled, "I wanted to talk to you."
"Did you get in through the chimney, again?"
"No, Destiny let me in."
"Of course."
"Is Destiny your sister? Does she live here too, and where's your parents."
I looked down, "Umm. I'll finish my shower. Do you mind waiting here till I finish? Then we can talk."
"That's fine."
I grabbed the bottle of shampoo and walked back upstairs.
Fifteen minutes later, I finished my shower, and twenty minutes later, I finished doing my hair and makeup.
I walked downstairs again. Dylan was on the couch, trying to find something to watch on tv, other than Christmas specials.
I turned the tv off, "Okay. Let's go."
He got up, "Go where?"
"You said you want to talk, and I don't feel like being here right now."
"It's snowing outside, but okay."
We walked outside, and across the street to the playground.
He looked around, "Really?"
"Yep."
I climbed the monkey bars, and hung upside down in front of him.
I held my shirt, so it didn't go down, "Let's see. I'll start with where my parents are."
I sighed, "My parents' got divorced when I was six, so my dad raised me. I haven't seen my mom since then. A few years ago, my dad died in a car wreck, and Destiny's parents let her stay with me since. I've known Destiny pretty much my whole life. She's always been there for me. She's like a sister."
Dylan looked down, "I'm sorry."
My legs were slipping, and I grabbed onto him to keep from falling, "Don't be. I'm fine."
My shirt was falling down, but I didn't notice. I hugged Dylan the best I could upside down. I wanted to kiss him, but was afraid to. He solved that for me though, because a moment before I was about to, he kissed me. My legs slipped more and my shirt flew down. I didn't see Destiny coming, and Dylan was about to say something, when she yelled out.
"Hey! Is that crack for sale or free!?"
I almost screamed, and my legs slipped and I fell, but Dylan caught me, barely."
I glared at Destiny, "No, this crack is not for sale. So, paws off."
Destiny laughed.
Dylan fake pouted, "Aww, damn."
