I hop out of the van to see my new house. Once I do, my heart falls. I mean, it's pretty big, but if I had to describe it in one word it would be: haunted house. (That's two words) It seriously looks like a haunted house, though!

"Sara!" My moms calls.

I guess it's time to go inside. I carefully

walk up the stone steps that are all covered in ice. When I open the door, I see that in the house it's pitch black.

My sister tells me that there was an awful storm that took out our electricity.

"It'll be fine," she tells me.

I walk by her grabbing a tall, white candle that smells of coconut from the table. The heat it radiates warms my frozen hands. I begin to escalate the two flights of stairs that will lead to my new room. Each step creeks when I step on it. The last one is especially loud.

A few steps past the laundry room, I see something very peculiar. I see indented lines in wall, in the shape of a door. Rounded at the top with straight sides, about a foot tall, but the same colour as the rest of the wall.

Slightly creeped out, I continue my walk to my new room. After only a few seconds, I am standing in front of a pearl white door. I open it to see an empty room painted a very light shade blue. I smell lavender and vanilla, but I ignore it. I walk in and walk straight to the closet. You see, I have a lot of clothes and I want there to be enough room for them all. I open the two doors to see inside.

I am satisfied with amount of room. I can fit my 124 shirts, 78 pants and my 345 pairs of shoes. I'm about to close the closet and put my candle down when I hear a young girl's voice coming from the closet scream,

"Let me out!"
