** *Authoress* I am goi g to start "Giving" my chapters to people...as in I am going to tart dedicating them. this Chapter is dedicated to my new friend (I think) Lamorna who has let me use her name and has helped me with this story in a few ways. So Lamorna? This Chapter is for you.**
I was in shock. Was this woman my aunt? I mean I always thought that she was dead. My father never talked about her. I now thought I knew who had turned me in. Could it have really been my father who turned me in? Would he really turn in his own daughter?
I heard the door open a a box tossed in. From the box I heard a "SHIT!" as if someone was in there. I heard Carnation move and than I heard the box open. I heard two people moving around now. I was terrified that a guard was in there and that Carnation and I were about to die for what we were. I started praying to the Goddess I had worshiped since I was old enough to talk.
A chime-like voice spoke up. "Day-um Ravenia...I thought you would have told me that you were a Magic user. I mean I dropped so many hints that I was." I was shocked at the voice. It was Lamorna. She was in the Prison with me and the woman that might very well be my aunt.
"She is in shock youngling. She does not know what to think." I heard Carnation whisper.
"Ya I can tell. She doesn't often get like this. I mean I've know this almost all of our lives." I heared her giggle. I mean I was shocked all to hell. What the fuck was she doing in here? Why was she in this room? And what did she mean that she had dropped many hints?
"Lamorna, h-h-how did you get in here? I mean w-w-why are you here? How did you know I was her?" The last question was a stupid as hell question. It was illegal to not go to a punishment. As they chose to call the choosing of the doors.
"I have come to break you out of here. I know a safe place that you can go and a place where no one will judge you by the powers you have. I've been going to this place since I was 6 when my powers awakened. I know that they will want you there. You belong there. and carnation you are willing to come with us. your name is legend amongst out kind. I am honored to meet you."
"I am happy to know that my niece has such a kind friend" I heared Carnation say. This was the first time I knew her to say something with out a whisper.
Lamorna giggled and I knew that there was a chance that I would be safe. I knew that I could trust her. We had been friends since she shared her lunch with me in the forest when we were both 6. I looked in what I thought was her direction, but being blind i couldn't be sure. I felt a hand on the back of my neck, I jumped before I relaxed figuring it was just Lamorna.
"Come on Ravenia...I getting you out of here. This is not where you should be. I need to get you to safety now take this pill and trust me." She handed me a pill and I took it.
I screamed as the pill went down. I opened my eyes and I could see again. It was the first time
in 3 years of my 17 years of life. I marveled at the sight of the room. Lamorna was evermore Fae like than she was when I lost my sight, and Carnation looked liked my grandmother. I was in shock that the room we were in was horrendous. The walls were covered in dirt and the floor was caked with mud and Goddess knows what else.
"Come on that pill will only work for a little while. I only brought one with me and we have to
hurry and get the hail out of here. If we get caught its all over.
Lamorna grabbed my hand and ran from the room. I could feel Carnation right behind me. I was
looking at everything around me as Lamorna pulled me along. I didn't know that there was so much I was missing by not being able to see.
Lamorna suddenly stopped. I looked ahead and seen a guard towering over us. As he raised his
sword I closed my eyes and heard a scream....
