*Lucy's P. O. V. *

"What you mean I'm royalty!?" He asked shocked. "I can't be!"

"Well you are so let's go. " Midnight said causing everyone's eyes to turn towards him.

"No! I'm not going! I don't believe you and even if I was some kind of royalty I'm not leaving my family behind!" Akito yelled which made me smirk.

"Now you look he" "Enough. " I said, cutting Cobra off as I stepped forward and place my hand on Akito's cheek.

"I like you. " was all I said before I heard two men growl behind me and Akito blushing like crazy.

"You have alot of spirit and energy. You also have a strong will to protect your family." I continued. "I understand what you are saying and this is my offer. You can bring your family to the other realm where they will live happily in a house on the castle grounds. They will be provided with all the necessary things they need and protection from the royal guard. While they live there, you will live in the castle and train to be a strong Guardian. Do you accept this offer? " I asked.

He looked shocked for a moment with his eyes wide and mouth hanging open at he continued to blush. He then turned his eyes towards his family then back to me before smiling widely before hugging me.

"Thank you! Thank you so much! " he said as he hugged me tightly.

I laughed as I hugged him back. "Don't worry, cuz now, we're family as well. " I said, smiling softly.

I felt his arms tighten around me at my words which caused me to smile more.

A low growl is what caused us to break apart though as I was pulled away from Akito and into Cobra and Midnight's protective arms.

"Oh stop it you two. " I scolded as I broke out of their arms and walked towards the group of shocked a confused people.

"Hi, my names Lucy Heartfilia and since your going to be living nearby us, I wanted to know your names. If that's OK." I said with a big smile.

They all looked at Akito for a moment until he nodded. They all then turned towards me.

The oldest girl cleared her throat a bit before speaking.

"My names Claire. Nice to meet you. " she said.

I smiled at her and turned towards the boy who began turning red.

"I-i-im Ethan..... " he stuttered out.

"Nice to meet you. Are you sick? Your really red." I asked, worried for his health.

Once of the children laughed and I turned to face one of the boys. "Hehehe,  don't mind him. He's like that around girls. My name is Ronnie by the way! And these are the triplets Mya, Myra, and Myan."

I was still a little confused but just shrugged it off as I smiled.

"Good! Now that we all know each other, Than let's go. " I said as I opened up the portal to the dragon real.

"All of you just go on through. " I said with a smile.

"Akito-nii is coming with us, right? " Mya asked.

"Ah, no. He has to stay with us. You will probably see him in a month or two though if we're lucky. If not, then I don't know when the next time will be. " I explained to them honestly, afraid they were going to ask this question.

"What!? I'm not leaving them like this! Let me spend just one more day with them. Just one more... " Akito yelled before getting quiet towards the end.

I signed as I rubbed my forehead with a frown. Though I couldn't help but smile softly and look back up, agreeing to my now fellow comrades request.

"Sure. But, only if the inn that were staying in has vacant rooms now. If they don't then I'm sorry but they will have to go tonight. " I said.

"Why can't we just stay here? " Myra asked.

"Because, your brother is an very important person and until he learns to protect himself carefully, he is in a lot of danger now that he knows who he really is. Now, let's start heading towards the inn. " I said as I walked out of the little shack and into the dark night, cobra and midnight instantly placing thereselves at wither side of my body.

We were walking in a comfortable silence towards the exit of the forest when Akito suddenly bribe the silence.

"What do you mean by we are like royalty? " Akito asked as we finally made it to the edge of the forest.

"Well, in a different realm we are known as guardians or Protecters of the brings in that world. We are considered royalty because being a guardian it's apparently a very high status there. One of the highest. " I explained as we finally made it to the inn. " I can't give you much information since I just found out I was a guardian myself today. Anyways, here we are. "

Akito nodded at he soaked in the new information. I walked up to the counter and cleared my throat trying to gain the attention of the lady.

She quickly looked away from the computer she was typing away on as she smiled at me.

"Yes how can I help you? " she asked.

"I was wondering if you hear any more rooms cleared out." I asked.

She began typing on her computer again before looking up and smiling again.

"Actually we do. It just so happens the a double-jointed room with two beds in each room just opened up. " she said causing the happy siblings behind me to cheer.

"Perfect! I would like to have that room for one night as well. " I said with a smile.

She nodded as she began typing again on her computer. I gave her the required amount of jewels as she gave me the key.

"Well then, let's go! " I said.

I led the siblings to their room and opened the door.

"This is your room then. You guys enjoy your time and make sure you don't leave this room. Our room is 2 doors down and is you need us you can just call us using this lacrima. All you have to do is concentrate on it and say  my name. Im not sure but I'm guessing that Akito will be the main one in charge of it unless someone else here can use magic." I explained.

No one replied so Midnight, Cobra, and I all walked out of their room and headed towards our own.

Though, for since reason my gut wouldn't stop twisting as I got this weird feeling that something was going to happen.

When we got to our room, I pulled the key out and opened the door.

My feeling was as well because as soon as I opened the door, I was slammed against the now closed door in the room.
