He barely ate any breakfast that day but was stuffed like Kreachers moms head back home, He sat Talking to Rose and James when hundreds of owls swooped down dropping letters and parcels to many students seeing it was only the second day he doubted that he would recieve anything but then he remembered, It was his birthday ,September 2nd! His owl ginger and Rons owl Pig brought him plenty of gifts and a letter. he brought everything back to his dorm and opened everything starting with the letter it said;

Also a few things we must say to you Albus First off the small brown package contains something that has been in the family for who knows how long, im sure you will use it in a "helpful" way im sure you will face some dangers at Hogwarts even though it isnt Dangerous it isnt entirely safe just ask Hermione im positive she will tell you, and second I give you a copy of the Mauraders Map I made My own copy so you could have this one and finally, I give you my Broomstick its one of the best a Firebolt I bought a new one when my old one was destroyed 20 years ago and I got accidently orderd 2 So I decided when the time comes Ill give you one I have Already sent an owl to Minerva asking if you could tey out for the house team and she said yes aparently she changed the rules first years can have their own broomsticks and play on the house teams! (only if you wish to of course.) I have a feeling you should try out for Seeker you would be the 3rd in the line of Potters to be one and maybe I could show you some tricks sometime? I hope this letter gets their soon because Your in for a rather big surprise in Defense Against The Dark Arts
