" are we wrong, are we right, we jump first and the decide.
It's hard to explain it, heavy hearts weigh us down.
When the waters getting deep, do we swim or do we sink, cause there's still along long way to go"

3rd Person's P.O.V

Draco Malfoy paced, he walked up and down the small corridor about a dozen times before storming into the pristine white room and facing her.

Cordelia lie still and pale upon the stark sheets, her cheeks had sunken in and her eyes had developed bags and dark impressions. The Trio sat across the hall listening to him sob, they were stunned. Never had the thought of Draco Malfoy caring for some one so deeply crossed their minds. Draco grappled for her hand and shuddered when he found it cold and limp.

Madam Pomfrey had told the trio that Cordelia's wounds were deep and the product of dark magic, something the girl wasn't capable of. The headmaster was notified and the professors were told not to release an information as to not cause panic. Her friends however were beside themselves.

Hermione Granger was mad, to say the least, But that wasn't enough. Hermione Granger was furious, at herself, at Cordelia, but most of all at the boys.

Harry Potter hated himself, he thought he had felt sadness, but this feeling was a hollow guilt that settled in the pit of his stomach and wouldn't leave him alone.

Ronald Weasley felt sick to his stomach, he knew they reacted irrationally, he knew they pushed a little to much. He never would have thought that Cordelia would take it that far.

A cold silence settled on the hospital wing, like a blanket of snow, it shook the trio to the core. Then there was a sniffle and everyone watched but Cordelia didn't move. Harry jumped up and turned around quickly bolting to the curtain and pulling back.

A wide eyed Sadie sat in the hospital bed. Her head pounded and blood rushed in her ears. Her eyelids fluttered furiously as she tried to regain eye sight. Then she groaned, the itching, the dryness, hit her like a wave. She needed relief and she needed it now. Slowly she stood on shaky legs and let out a strangled cry as her knees buckled beneath her. She fell to her knees and clutched her head as if she were on fire.

Madam Pomfrey , hearing the strangled cries, hurried from her office and to the girl, pulling her to her feet and hurrying from the hospital wing.

Harry stared after them before slowly taking a step towards the doors. He let out a sigh before bolting after them, needing to make sure the girl wasn't seriously injured.

Hermione stares after harry in shock before returning to Cordelia's side. She fiddled with Cordelia's hair before bursting into tears, taking both boys by surprise.

Ron stood to comfort Hermione but sat down when the girl turn to him, eyes blazing with rage.

"How could you, you just had to push her, you just had to have the last word, like always. You can't just listen to people. It's always someone else's fault, you can't ever just let it be!"

" Oh yeah like your so perfect. Ms. Know it all always have to be right, always have to know the answer or correct everybody else. It's as if you've never done something wrong before. Perfect Hermione can't handle not being right."

"That's smart Ronald, as if I've ever paraded around like an angel. At least I'm not a walking talking parental disappointment."

"A load of dung that is coming from you, little miss muggle-born, never had a problem in her life."

"Oh Ronald do shut up you act like your completely neglected."

" BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!!"

Ron and Hermione turned sharply to the blonde boy currently stirring next to Cordelia. His head was cranes unnaturally to the side.

" she mumbled something but I couldn't make it out with your incessant nagging."

Ron scoffed before turning around and taking up residence in a chair at the end of her bed, leaning forward slightly, resting his head on the bed railing.

Hermione darted back to Cordelia's bedside, grabbing the girls hand and clutching it to her chest.

Cordelia groaned, blinking slightly before squeezing her eyes shut and clutching her hair. She rolled to the side, gasping for air as she started to sob.

"Plea-pl-please dont plea please just let me go. Please don- don't hurt me"

Hermione's eyes widened as the girls words rang in her ears. Her hair stood on end and she felt cold to the core.

Someone had done this Cordelia. Someone had attacked her, and that someone was still out there.
