I hate school. There are only two good things about it and that's music, and the hot girls. But even then, the girls are all stuck up bitches.

I just have to make it through the last twenty minutes of gym class, and then I can finally go to music club. Music is my passion. My three best mates and I go to music together.

The four of us are from Australia. There was a lot of shit happening so we decided that the best place for us to go would be Canada.

We're just playing basketball today, but nobody will pass the damn ball. It makes me so mad that people think that just because I have tattoos it means that I can't play any sports.

The bell rings and I change back into my skinny jeans and sweater. Then I run up to the third floor to the music room and I'm the first person here.

Luke, Calum, and Ashton all walk in before too long. "Hey guys," I say as they grab their seats next to me. We're just talking when one of our friends Mason walks in but he has a girl with him today.

She's beautiful, she has long brown hair, hazel eyes, a nose piercing, skin paler than mine, a lot of freckles, and she's a bit on the bigger side and she's very short.

"Hey Mason, who's the cutie you brought with you?" Calum says before I get the chance to say anything. I shoot him a warning look, as if to tell him to back off. He has a bad history with girls and I don't want him to hurt my angle.

"This is Kalen. She's in grade ten and I figured I'd bring her and introduce her to some of my friends," he says as they sit on the other side of me.

"Hi," she says giving us a small smile. "it's nice to meet you guys." she has such a sweet voice, I bet she's a great singer.

"So, so you sing or play any instruments?" I ask her. She seems really shy.

"Um, I can't sing but I'm leading how to play the guitar and I can kinda play the drums," she tells me quietly with her head down while playing with her fingers. "What about you?"

"I sing and play guitar. I love it really." I say as the teacher walks in.

"I see we have a new member, what's your name and what are you gonna sing for us?" Mr.Cassidy asks, and when everybody looks at her I see the panic on her face so I nudge her leg with mine and give her an encouraging smile.

"My name's Kalen, and I'm I don't actually sing," she says looking at the teacher. Some people start laughing. One kid even makes a ride comment about her.

"Shit your fucking mouth before I come over there and make you shut up," I scream at him as I stand up, but Kalen gently grabs my hand with one of her small, soft hands.

"It's okay Michael, I don't care," she says quietly as she gently pulls me back to my seat.

"It's not okay, that asshole needs to learn not to talk to people like that," she looks at me with a small smile.

The asshole of a teacher didn't say anything to the guy, instead he just tells Kalen to either sing or leave.

"That's bullshit, none of us had to do that!" Mason said, which is true, none of us had to sing in front of the class to stay.

"That's because it's a new rule," Mr.Cassidy said, which posses me off even more.

"I'll wait for you in the hall,"she tells Mason before grabbing her gas and walking out.

Mason gets up too and then talks us that they'll wait for us in the hall, so we all just leave now instead.

"You guys can go back in, I don't mind waiting," Kalen tells us, but we just tell her to shut up before agreeing to meet at Masons house.
